John Runge, Sr., 75, resident of Gretna for 37 years, died Sunday morning of a stroke suffered two days ago. He was a retired farmer.
Surviving are Mrs. Runge, a son, John Runge, Jr., of Gretna; two daughters, Mrs. Anna Eichner of Ogallala, and Mrs. Alvina Frahm of Osceola, and 13 grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Gretna Lutheran church. Burial will also be at Gretna. Services are in charge of Brewer-Korisko.
