Sophie A. Sautter was born June 12, 1895, in Papillion, Nebraska, the daughter of John L. and Mary A. (Lutz) Sautter. She died in Papillion on May 11, 1987, at the age of 91 years, 10 months and 29 days.
She was baptized, confirmed and a life-long member of the First Lutheran Church in Papillion. She is survived by her sister, Alma Sautter of Papillion; brother and sister-in-law, George and Anna Sautter of Syracuse, NE; niece and nephew, Lois and Glen Hansen, Syracuse, NE; 2 grandnieces; 2 grandnephews; one great-grandniece.
Services were held Thursday, May 14 at 2 p.m. at First Lutheran Church, Papillion, with Pastor Martin R. Greunke officiating. Joan Schram served as organist with Andrea Florick, soloist, who sang "How Great Thou Art" and "What A Friend We Have In Jesus." Pallbearers were Raymond Rahn, Howard Schwer, William Greunke, Jerald Lutz, Eldon Iverson and Reinhardt Weiss. Interment was in Papillion Cemetery, Papillion, Nebraska.
Dolce Mortuary, Papillion, was in charge of arrangements.
