Omaha Capitalist Passes Away at Sarpy’s Couny Seat


Papillion, Neb., May 14 - John Schaab, a well known capitalist of Papillion and Omaha, died at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. C.B. Brown of Brown Hill farm near her of asthma, at the age of 76 years.

Mr. Schaab was a German-American of wide acquaintance. He owned the Windsor hotel, Omaha, where he made home. He also owned much other improved Omaha property and several fine farms near Papillion.

His wife died two years ago.

Mr. Schaab leaves two children, Charles, cashier of the Packers’ National bank of South Omaha, and Mrs. C.B. Brown. The funeral will be held from Brown Hill farm Wednesday at 2 o’clock.
