John H. Simon, 83, resident of Omaha 12 years, formerly of Gretna for many years, died Thursday at his home, 1008 South Forty-first street.
Survivors: Wife, Sarah; sons, Everett, Hunlock Creek, Pa.; Arthur, Springfield, Neb.; John T., Bostwick, Neb.; and James, Detroit; daughters, Mrs. A.C. Gibson and Olive, both of Omaha, and Mrs. R.E. Meyers, Grand Island; brother, Thomas, Birmingham, Ala.; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services: Saturday, 2 p.m. at Crosby-Carlson-Meyer mortuary; burial Forest Lawn Memorial park.
