Mrs. C.H. Treckel, 77, long a resident of Douglas and Sarpy counties, died at her home in Gretna Wednesday night. Mrs. Treckel came to Omaha in 1872 from Germany, moving to Gretna when the town was first settled. She and her husband, who died several years ago, operated the Treckel hotel there for many years. She is survived by one daughter, Nolma, at home.
Funeral services will be held at the residence Saturday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Gretna cemetery.
