J.A. Wainwright Dies; Was Democrat Leader
J.A. Wainwright, 77, prominent Sarpy county farmer for 53 years and an active democrat for many of them, died at his home in Gretna at 7 a.m. today. The funeral will be held at Gretna M.E. church Sunday at 2, with burial at Springfield, Neb.
Mr. Wainwright was chairman of the county democratic central committee for many years. He leaves his widow; two daughters, Mrs. John Allbery and Mrs. William Helphill; a son, Jay, all of Gretna. There are nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
