| Adolphia Fay Newburn (“Dolly”) Blair |
Adolphia Fay Newburn (“Dolly”) Blair was born,
June 30, 1903 in
Kansas, had two sons, both of whom graduated from Cedar Bluffs HS.
My mother
also graduated from there in 1939 (Wilma Nadine Booher). Her father was Edward
Phineas Booher, Methodist minister for many years in Kennard and for a few years
in Cedar Bluffs and also served Morse Bluffs.
Adolphia is buried in
Marietta Cemetery in Colon, where her former husband is also buried (William S.
Blair).
William
S. Blair, Nebraska, Fireman, 2
Class, U.S.N.F.F, June 30, 1939.
Adolphia
was also married to George K. Fox who survived her, but he is buried in
Blair Cemetery, Washington County, next to first wife.
Would appreciate a copy of
William S. Blair's obit if it can be found from 1939 (I believe his was a tragic
death, suicide perhaps).
see Adolphia
Fay Newburn "Dolly" Blair Fox
obituary, obituary page.
