Rain at Millford
One-third
of an inch of rain fell last night in this vicinity.
The "Bowen Camp,' situated about
Lake
Quenchaqua,
has been extensively patronized this week.
Lieutenant
Steel and a number of friends from David City
are nicely located on the Hunt place and are
dining
on fish every day.
Judge
Cochran and enough deputy sheriffs came out
to camp Saturday night to strike consternation
to the
peaceful inhabitants of the Blue.

Neighbors Save His House 
Special Dispatch to the World Herald.
Tamora, Nebraska, March 4. -- The outbuildings on the farm of H. Gakey were burned Wednesday. But for the assistance of neighbors, who were called by telephone, the house would have been destroyed.
