KILLING THE WITNESSES
Elko, Nevada, August 28 - News has just been brought in from Lamoille Valley that Ed
Kindricks shot and killed his father in law, Otto
Hugo at the latter’s ranch this morning. Kendricks was only released from
the State Prison a short time ago, where he was sent for throwing a knife at a young girl. When released he threatened
to kill all who were witnesses against him. After killing Hugo he started toward Hallock, where the girl now resides,
and it is feared he will kill her before the officers can reach him. The Sheriff and others are after him.
