The earliest ancestor of the BOND family of Charlestown, NH came from England and settled at Pigsgusset afterwards called Watertown, MA. His son, William Bond, the first born in this country m. (1) Sarah Briscoe b. Feb 1, 1650. He m. (2) Elizabeth Benjamin, who survived him. He had children only by his lst wife, Sarah Briscoe. Thomas Bond, his son, who also settled at Watertown, MA m. Sarah Wilson.

William Bond, son of Thomas Bond, b. at Watertown, MA March 1757 m. aged 22, Sarah Parks dau of David and Sarah (Gibbs) Parks of Lincoln, MA b. Dec. 17, 1765 and soon after they removed to Charlestown, NH. He entered the army at 18 yrs. and witnessed the bloodshed at Lexington, MA and was at the battle of Bunker Hill. He was also in the unfortunate expedition ot Quebec. He d. Oct 22, 185l; she died Sept 8, 1845. Their children:

5. Laura Bond b. March 1797 d. unm.
6. Silas Bond b. Feb l2, 1799 m. 1828 Alice Abbott of Charlestown, NH Their
children:

3. William Austin Bond b. Aug l5, 183l m. Juliette Maxwell on July 6, 185l Their children:

1. Ella Philinda Bond b. at Woburn MA Oct 1852.
2. Alice Juliette Bond b. at Danvers, MA June 9, 1855
William Austin Bond was a member of Company A, l3th CT Vol's in the War of the Rebellion and died at Brashear City, LA May 1862.

4. Sarah Alice Bond b. May 26, 1833 m. 1852 James E. Lyon of N.
Bridgewater, MA. Their children:

1. Carrie Alice Lyon b. May l5, 1854 d. 1854.
2. Emma Juliette Lyon b. 1858
