Joshua Bowker brother of Benjamin Bowker m. 1847 Elizabeth Dunsmoor dau of John and Polly Dunsmoor. She b. at Charlestown, NH Mar 3l, 18l2. He d. July l5, 1869 aged 63 yrs. He held various military offices the highest of which was that of Colonel in the l6th Regiment of the New Hampshire Militia.

Mrs Bowker the mother of Benjamin and Joshua Bowker came to Charlestown with her family in 18l0. She was at that time, a widow. Her children in addition to the sons above mentioned were:
