Capt. John Church resided at Charlestown, NH in 1768 (perhaps earlier) and was one of the
three persons apptd to divide the town into districts in 1770. He left a fund for the support
of the poor of Charlestown. He d. prior to 1787 and Hon Simeon Olcott and Benjamin West were
executors of his will.
Simeon Church, son of Capt. John Church m. abt the year 1783 Olive Allen, dau of Benjamin and
Peggy Allen; d. 1823 or 1824. Their children:
1. John Church b. Aug 26, 1785 m. Oct 27, 18l6 Cynthia White, dau of Major Jotham White and
wife, Catherine (Reed) White. Their children:1. Olive Church m. Charles Hackett on Feb. 22, 1838

John Church, Stephen Alvord and Moses Willard (apptd by the town)
