Joseph Ellenwood b. Oct 31, 1753; died at Lempster, Jan 22, 1831. He m. Feb 5, 1778,
Mary Punchard, dau. of John Punchard. She b. June 22, 1754; died July 11, 1824. Her
descendants wer nine children and thirty-two grandchildren. Children:

1. Priscilla Ellenwood b. June 9, 1779.

2. Cyrus Ellenwood b. July 24, 1782. He settled at Charlestown in 1835. He m. Sally Draper b. Sept 12, 1789. Children:

1. Sally Ellenwood b. May 2, 1814.
2. Harvey Ellenwood b. July 6, 1819; m. Jan 11, 1865, Estella Rugg.

Children:
1. Freddie Ellenwood b. June 9, 1866.
2. Minnie Estella Ellenwood b. Aug 7, 1868.
3. Nellie Gertrude Ellenwood b. Sept 5, 1870.

Bertie Hill, son of Mrs. Ellenwood by a previous husband, b. Nov 13, 1861.

3. Francis Ellenwood b. July 5, 1820, m. Cynthia Whitman. They lived at Acworth.
4. Simeon F. Ellenwood b. Mar 6, 1823, m. June 6, 1849, Susan Clark, dau of Moses & Anna (Kincaid) Clark; b. at Newbury VT., Jan 29, 1825.
5. Hiram C. Ellenwood b. Nov 25, 1826; m. Oct 24, 1856, Martha Ann Clark, dau of Moses Clar,; b. Oct 5, 1837 at Newbury, VT.
6. Warren J. Ellenwood b. April 21, 1829; m. Nancy Rollins & re moved to Chicago, Ill.
7. Sarah K. Ellenwood b. Mar 26, 1838; m. Samuel Towne & res. at Claremont.
Cyrus Ellenwood, father of the above children died at Charlestown Dec 10, 1870. Mrs. Sally (Draper) Ellenwood d. Mar 24, 1854.

3. Hannah Ellenwood, dau of Joseph Ellenwood b. Feb 9, 1784.

4. Francis Ellenwood b. Feb 25, 1786.

5. John Ellenwood b. Nov 18, 1789.

6. Sally Ellenwood b. June 22, 1791.

7. Dorcas Ellenwood b. Aug 27, 1793.

8. Joshua Ellenwood b. April 10, 1796.

9. Hiram Ellenwood b. Aug 27, 1800.

All Joseph Ellenwood's children married with the exception of Hiram.
