p.462 Peter Labaree b. 1724 at Salem MA was descended from Huguenotts who were driven from France through religious persecution. He was a ships' carpenter at Salem until 1750 at which time he moved to Fort No. 4. On August 30, 1754 he went to the home of Capt James Johnson and was captured with that family by Indians and taken with Ebenezer Farnsworth and the Johnsons to Canada. His wife was Ruth Putnam, daug of Seth and Ruth Putnam. They married 1746, at either Salem or Danvers, MA. They had 9 children listed in detail p. 466:

Peter Labaree, Jr. after the Revolutionary War went to Maine, where he married (2) Sarah Longfellow daug of Nathan Longfellow and had l0 additional children. These children and Peter's grandchildren are listed pages 466, 467 and 468...on request...file resumed and finished 8/l/97: Peter Labaree Jr. After the Revolution in which he fought, he removed to Maine where he m. (2)Sarah Longfellow and had these additional childred (the first four born at Townalborough Plantation, now Dresden, Maine and the next 6 born at Ballatown Plantation now called Whitefield, Maine:
