Simon Rumrill b. July l, 1767 at New Ipswich, NH was one of fifteen children. He m. Jan 1790 Joanna Kemp and removed to Charlestown, NH the following April. Their children:
1. Stephen Rumrill b. Jan l4, 179l m. and settled in Northfield, VT.
2. Abigail Rumrill b. May 23, 1793.
3. Lois Rumrill b. June 1795 m. Isaac Smith who had been a soldier in the war of 1812
4. Isaac Rumrill b.Sep l5, 1797 m. Tryphena Hodgman and settled at Springfield, Vt.
5. Rachel Rumrill died age 2 yrs.
Simon Rumrill m. (2) Jan 1800 Hannah Perry and their children were:
6. Benjamin Rumrill b.Oct 6, 1800 m. Feb 17, 1825 Mary Garfield and moved to Springfield, VT
7. Hannah Rumrill b. June l1802 m. Cyrus Garfield Jan 1825 and removed in 1827 to Springfield.
8. Levi Rumrill b. Sep 29, 1804 m. Jan 25, 1826 Ursula Garfield and resided in Charlestown, NH Their children:
1. Anna Rumrill b. at Springfield, VT Oct 3, 1827 died young
2. Lewis Rumrill b. June l3, 1829 m. Mar 26, 1866 Mrs. Margaret Ann (Currier) Eggleston b at Williamstown, Upper Canada on Mar 26, 1828
3. Ursula Anne Rumrill b. at Chester, VT m. Oliver P. Cross
4. Fanny Rumrill b. Dec 8, 1832 at Chester, VT d. aged 2l.
