- Gabaldon Mortuary, 418 2nd St. S.W. Records from 1911.
- Garcia Mortuary, Inc., 8th & Stover S.W. Records from 1919.
- Exter-Tonella Mortuary, Inc., 930 Stanford Dr. N.E. Records from 1932.
- Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 100 Coal Ave. S.E. Records from 1920.

Artesia
- Paulin Funeral Home. Records since 1910, however, most of the records prior to 1943 are very incomplete.

Carlsbad
- Carpenter Funeral Home, 1001 N. Canal. Records since 1952.
- West Funeral Home, Guadalupe at McKay St. Records since 22 Nov. 1949. Prior records back to 1905 were destroyed in a fire.

Clovis
- Roberts Funeral Home, Box 89. Records since 1952.
- Steed Funeral Home, Box 104. Records since 1909.

Farmington
- Basin Mortuary, 802 W. Apache. Information concerning death records should be obtained from the San Juan County Registrar, Aztec,
N.M. The Registrar has a complete record.
- Cope Funeral Home, 402 W. Arring ton. See above.

Gallup
- Rollie Mortuary, Inc., 310 S. 2nd St. 'Our records are fairly good starting with the year 1935. Our records beyond this date are not so good. We will be happy to co-operate in any way possible.'

Hobbs
- Griffin Funeral..Home, Box M5. Records since 1945.
- Roberts Funeral Home, 500 Turner. Records since 1958.

Las Cruces
- Fulmer Memorial Mortuary. Records maintained 'forever'.
- Graham Mortuary, Box 707. Records since 1907. Early records are quite incomplete.

Las Vegas
- Rogers Mortuary, North 6th at Reynolds. Records since 15 Oct. 1941.

Lordsburg
- Heather Mortuary. Records since 1920.

Lovington
- Smith-Yarborough Funeral Home, Box 1356. Records since about 1957.

Mountainair
- Hanlon Mortuary. Records complete since 1922. Records 1908 to 1922 list only the name of the deceased, date of death, place of burial, or point shipped to.

Portales
- Wheeler Mortuary. Records since 1931. Records from 1915 to 1930 are sketchy and incomplete. 'There have been four other mortuaries in Portales during the years. What was done with their records when they closed we do not know.'

Raton
- J.J. Errington. Records kept for fifty years.

Roswell
- Ballard Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1752. 'We maintain these records on a perpetual basis. We have on hand currently all death records in Roswell from 1907, the year we were founded, until 1918, and from 1920 to the current date. One bound record book for the 1918-1920 records became misplaced or destroyed during one of Roswell's floods, and is therefore not available.'

Roy
- Floersheim Funeral Home, Box 66. 'We have just recently (1957) revised our system here, and we now keep a complete historical record of each person. We are, sometimes, unable to obtain full information from informants, however we do as much as is possible. Prior to 1957 the only records that we have are from death certificates, which are available at the Bureau of Vital Statistics, Santa Fe, N.M. We do willingly and gladly work with anyone regarding such information as they might want. Sorry our records are not complete from the time we went in business.'

Santa Fe
- Block's Mortuary, 237 E. Hickox. Records since 1959 in Santa Fe. Records since 1948 in Espanola.
- Memorial Chapel, Luisa St. Records since 1935 are complete.

Santa Rosa
- Hutchins Funeral Home. Records since 1952.

Silver City
- Curtis Mortuary, Inc. 'The records of the Cox Mortuary-Curtis Mortuary go back to 1916. Some of the early records are not complete.'
- Hinman & Son. Out of business. Disposition of records unknown.

Taos
- Garcia Mortuary. 'All records available at the County Health Dept.'
- Hanlon Funeral Home, Burch Ave. Records kept past twenty-five yrs.

Truth or Consequences (formerly Hot Springs)
- French-Fitzgerald Mortuary, Box 112. Records for about eight years.

Tucumcari
- Doughty Funeral Home, 1701 S. 4th St. Records since 1939.
- Dunn's Funeral Home, 113 S. 3rd St. 'Records kept about the past six years. Before that time records were with the Health Department.'

It is necessary in N.M. to file a certificate of still birth. The mortuary could have a copy of this information, although there might be no record of burial in a cemetery.
