A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at Ballard Funeral Chapel for Louis L. Salcido, a lifelong resident of Roswell, who passed away on July 24, 2006.  He was 52 years old.

            Louis was born on July 21, 1954 in Roswell, New Mexico to Vincent and Isabelle Lopez Salcido.

            On February 14, 1992 he married Mary Christine Salcido in his hometown.  She survives him at the family home.  He was a construction worker and was employed by P.T. Production.  He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

            He is survived by his mother, Isabelle; his sons; Louis Salcido Jr. and his wife Evette, and Jimmy Aragon, daughters; Vanessa, Christina and her husband Mario, Wendy Lynn and her husband Matthew, and Angela Aragon.  Other survivors include his brothers, Diego Salcido, Ray Salcido and his wife Kathleen, Andrew Salcido, Vincent Salcido III, and Ray Salcido, grandchildren; Lizette, Lovette, Veronica, Cyrus, Annjenette, Reina, Mario, Israel, JoeEddie, Monique, Marc, Matthew, Mikal, and Rico.

            He was preceded in death by his father Vincent Salcido Sr. and his brother Vincent Salcido Jr., and his son Ernest Aragon.
