A discontinued early pioneer school so named because it was located at No. 18 watering place of the Mallet Ranch; the one room building, standing at a point about 12 miles eas of Monument. Doubled as a church served by the reverend abd Mrs. Henry Barnett, both ministers, who began their career at Monument's church
