White School was a one room school located 5 miles SE of Eunice that endured from 1914-1935, being named for Charlie Lee White, an early day teacher. As most one room schools, it was used as a church and community center. The ministers for the church were circuit riders from all the denominations, the most faithful were the Presbyterian missionaries.
