Antioch - Midway

Lying northwest of Lovington, the Midway/Antioch cemetery is all that remains of a community that burned in 1950.

Established prior to 1910, the community had a store, post office and school.

Old Antioch Baptist Church

TThe Antioch Cemetery is directly behind the church. The cemetery is still in use and dates from 1910

The Old church once served the ranchers and farmers of the area and the thriving town of Midway, long since fading back into history.
