Baker Flats
Lea County School

Traveling through the Staked Plains or the Llano Estacado, approximately 5 miles west of Caprock, one might find the remains of the Baker Flats school, located in Charley Pruitt's pasture. It is thought that the rural school it was established about 1912, it vanished around 1927.
