Memorial services are scheduled for 11 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2006 at Calvary Baptist Church, Roswell for Bryan Austin Fuller, 43, of Roswell, who passed away Dec. 30, 2005. Rev. Joseph Tillery of Artesia, N.M., will officiate.
Bryan was born on Oct. 18, 1962, in Mt. Vernon, Wash., to Charles Phillip Fuller and Lois Ann Bonnell Fuller. Both parents survive him.
He married Paula Kay Bell on Sept. 17, 1988 in Cloudcroft. He is survived by his wife, Paula, and their two children, Makayela and Dustin.
Other survivors are brothers Wesley Fuller and wife Connie, of Carlsbad, and Gaylon Fuller and wife Lacee, of Artesia; a sister, Laura Smalls, of Las Cruces; grandmothers Ethel E. Fuller, of La Luz, and Bessie Bonnell, of La Luz; also several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by a sister, Annell Fuller; grandfathers Charles William Fuller and Donald Bonnell; an aunt, Deidre Mae Fuller; and an uncle, Melvin Bonnell.
Bryan attended Cloudcroft Public Schools. He received his bachelor of arts and master of education degrees from New Mexico State University. Bryan was employed by Roswell Independent School District for 14 years at Roswell High School. He was vocational department head, agricultural instructor, FFA advisor. He served on the Eastern New Mexico Fair Board and was the vocational superintendent of the fair. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church where he enjoyed serving as auctioneer for the Lottie Moon Christmas craft fair. Bryan was a champion fiddler and a judge of fiddle contests throughout the Southwest. He was admired by all of his students, loved deeply by all of his family and friends. Bryan was a devoted husband, father, and son. He will be greatly missed.
Honorary pall bearers are Wesley Fuller, Chan Peters, Gaylon Fuller, Kevin Bell, Olin James, Hyram Posey, Junior Daugherty, and all past and present Roswell High FFA students.
