View of Main Street, Tucumcari, New Mexico.
Bet. 1905-1915
Men, women, and children stand on sidewalks near hitched wagons and buggies. One and two story buildings with false
fronts and flat roofs line the dirt street. Prominent signs read: "Whitmore The Old Reliable Shoe Maker"
"Feed and Groceries" "Rooms" "L. O. O. M. Club Rooms" "Hofford Groceries".
Wooden electrical poles with wires strung between stands near the street. Shows a cylindrical water tower with
a conical top.
