(1)  Family records has a death date of March 1, 1918.  His wife and
     children moved to Sudan, Texas after his death.  He and his wife 
     left Floydada, Texas on April 1914 for Venus, Santa Fe, NM where 
     he had taken up a government claim.  He had brothers living in 
     Floydada, Floyd, TX in 1919 when he died.  He married Cora Alta 
     Cockerham in Floyd County, Texas, Sept. 17, 1911. They had a son 
     Howell Burton King born in Floydada, TX in 1913 and the two 
     daughters born in New Mexico (One in Estancia, Torrance County, 
     1915, and another in Montoya, NM, 1917).  Submitted by Nancy Marble
