Charges of murder were filed
here today against Kerley Langdell, a mining man, accusing him of
shooting to death his partner, William D. Hudson, formerly of
Hope, Ark.
Langdell and Hudson were going
over some mining claims together a month ago when Hudson's body
plunged headlong over a high cliff. The charges allege that a
bullet wound was discovered in Hudson's head.
Langdell entered a plea of not
guilty.
