CELEBRATING HER 107TH BIRTHDAY
All Glassbrook, New Jersey, Did Honor to Mrs. Hannah Chard
Philadelphia, April 29 – The little town of Glassbrook, across the Delaware in New Jersey, was in festive garb
today in celebration of the fact that its most noteworthy citizen, Mrs. Hannah Chard, has reached her 107th birthday.
The family reunion at the home of the venerable dame was one to be remembered. The participants included her eldest
daughter, aged 82, two other children, aged 71 and 63, and a good smattering of representatives of her fifty-six
grandchildren and 150 great-grandchildren. Altogether, five generations of her descendants were represented.
