Hunterdon County, New Jersey Family Bibles LANE FAMILY BIBLE Transcribed and Submitted By: Mary Jo (Lane) Hawkinson This LANE family Bible was first owned by Aaron Lane (1775-1844) and his wife Catherine DeMott (1777-1852) I do not know who wrote the pages or when, but am sure that it was before the mid-twentieth century (when my father inherited the Bible) and probably in the late nineteenth century. There is some repetition (and at least two different scripts).
