Dutch Director-General of New York During Netherlands Rule (1624 - 1664)

New York State was once part of the 17th century Dutch province of New Netherland (Nieuw Nederland) in North America. The largest settlement in New Netherland was New Amsterdam (New York City). The Dutch West India Company appointed the following men as Directors from 1624 to 1664.
