Index to
ESTATE INVENTORIES, 1666-1775

This index to Estate Inventories was originally compiled by Professor Kenneth Scott and published in the National Genealogical Society Quarterly, December 1966, Vol. 54, No. 4

The original estate documents were transfered from the New York Court of Appeals in Albany to the Historical Documents Collection of the Paul Klapper Library of Queens College, Flushing, NY. Those original documents give the name of the deceased, place of residence and usually trade/or profession, along with an inventory of the land, household furnishings, slaves, and debtors/creditors held by the deceased at the time of his or her death.

This index was transcribed for Genealogy Trails by A Friend of Free Genealogy

We do not have any more information on any of these individuals other than what you'll find within our websites.
Individuals with an asterisk * next to their name were not included in the Historical Society's previous publication "Abstracts of Wills"
