MEYER
ADVISED
HIS WIFE TO KILL HERSELF
New York, July 22 – District Attorney
Nicoll has in his possession a letter written by Dr. Meyer, the
alleged prisoner, to his wife, advising her to commit suicide. In
the letter Meyer promised to commit suicide also. It is believed
that Meyer wishes to induce his wife to commit suicide so that
there would be no possibility of her turning state's evidence
against him. The letter will be used at the trial. Transcribed
