Christening at Albany on Sunday -- Plans are Completed -- Governor Dix will be Sponsor at Christening of Mr. and Mrs. Gross' Child.
Mr. James M.H. Wallace went to Albany today to complete arrangement of the christening of the infant -o-? of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Gross, of this -- at the capital city next Sunday. The youngster will be baptized in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception at Albany next Sunday. Gov. Dix will be the godfather. Mr. and Mrs. Gross' child was born on election day and John A. Dix Gross was the name selected for the infant. Mr. Gross selected for the infant. Mr. Gross invited Gov. Dix to come to Newburgh to act as sponsor at the christening, but a change was made in the plans and the child will be taken to Albany instead.
