Rev. James Mulcahey, S.T.D.
Retired Episcopal Clergyman of Brooklyn Dies in Saratoga
Saratoga, July 12-The Rev. James Mulcahey, S.T.D., aged
seventy four years, a retired Episcopal clergyman of 94 Decatur
Street, Brooklyn, died of oedema of the lungs here today. He arrived
here two weeks ago, and was ill only three days. The remains were
taken to Brooklyn tonight.
The Rev. James Mulcahey for twenty years served as pastor at St.
Paul's Protestant Episcopal Church in Broadway, this city. In his
earlier years he was a minister at Toledo, Ohio, and then became
curate in Trinity Church, this city. He retired from active service
several years ago. He leaves two married daughters and a son,
who is a lawyer. The remains will be taken to Warren, R.I. for
burial.

Mr. Harry B. Bunting, of Philadelphia, a retired merchant of great
wealth, died at Saratoga Springs, N.Y., a few days ago, from a
stroke of apoplexy.

Jockey West, E.J. Baldwin's famous jockey, died at Saratoga Springs,
N.Y., on the 9th of injuries received recently on the Saratoga race
track.

The death of Mr. Coleman the inventor of the "Eolian Attachment" to
the piano forte, about which so much has been said of late, is
announced in a New York paper of the 5(?)th inst. He expired at his
residence at Saratoga Springs, N.Y., and has been ill but a few days
of the mumps and measles together.Tioga Eagle,
