ERNEST S. ROCHE MARRIES
Late Chancellor's Son Weds Miss Florence M. Menges in Saratoga

Saratoga Springs, N.Y., Sept. 27.-Miss Florence M.
Menges, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Menges of this place, and
Ernest Spencer Roche, son of Mrs. Emma C. Roche, also of Saratoga,
were married at noon today in the Bethesda Church. The officiating
clergymen were the Rev. Dr. Olin S. Roche and Rev. Hubert P. Le F.
Graham, pastor of the church.
No invitations were issued for the wedding owing to the
recent death of the bridegroom's father, the Rev. Dr. Spencer
Summerfield Roche, former Chancellor of the Cathedral of the
Incarnation at Garden City, L.I.
Miss Mary H. Boynton was maid of honor, and the Misses
Emeline C. Roche, Isabell Ames, Blanche L. Jackman and Dorothy H.
White were the bridesmaids.
Joseph Davis Sears acted as best man. The ushers
included Austin S. Roche, Ward Melville, Edward I. Carr, and Walter
N. De Panne.
Mr. roche is a graduate of Columbia, class of '11 and
of the Columbia Law school, class of '13.New York
