Old Editor Dead.
     LOS ANGELES, Cal., March 10. - A. L. Underhill, president of the Steuben Farmers' Advocate, a paper published in Bath, N. Y., is dead at the Hotel Westminster. Mr. Underhill, who was 75 years of age, arrived here from New York on March 6h. Death was due to congestion of the lungs.

Capt. Underhill.
     Captain E. H. Underhill was at one time quite well known here. He was a bright and interesting man. A Bath correspondent says of him:
     The remains of the late Captain Edward H. Underhill, who died Sunday morning at Albany, arrived in Bath last evening over the Erie at 6:42 and were taken to the home of his sister Miss Hannah Underhill, on Morris St. The funeral will be held this afternoon from the residence of his sister.
     Deceased was 62 years of age at the time of his death and for several years past he was at the head of the bureau of charitable institutions of the state comptroller's office. He was one of the best known officials in Albany and was before entering the state, district manager of the New York Life Insurance Company. He is survived by a widow.

Among the Dead.
Ira W. Unger.
Ira W. Unger died of consumption Sunday afternoon at 12:30 at his home in Richland. Mr. Unger was 29 years old. He was born in Steuben County, N.Y., but had lived more of less in Richland for nine years. He leaves a father who resides at Richland, as does also his sister, Miss Mary Unger. There are two brothers, William of West Virginia and George of Ontario county, N.Y. The funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock at the home. Interment will be at East Cooper.
