This community was deeply saddened by the news of the death of Mrs. Mary E. Kelly Zeh on Saturday at Buffalo, where she had gone for treatment. Mrs. Zeh had been in poor health for some time and went to Buffalo in the hope of receiving help. Her condition gradually grew worse. Mrs. Zeh was 50 years of age. She was born in the town of West Union, the daughter of Arthur and Mary McKinley Kelly. For several years she has lived in this community, on a farm about two miles from this village. She was highly esteemed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Zeh leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, one son, Arthur, age 16; one daughter, Gladys, age 12; a brother, Alexander Kelly, a sister, Mrs. Hamilton Cornell, and a host of friends. The family have the sympathy of the entire community in their sad bereavement.
The funeral was held today (Wednesday) at 1:00 p. m. from the late home and at 2:00 p. m. from the Presbyterian church, Rev. G. W. Wilkinson officiating. Burial in Jasper cemetery.
