DIES AT HOME
Mrs. Emma Schreck, 60, Succumbs in Ashland County.
LATTASBURG -- Mrs. Emma S. Schreck, 60, died at her home north of here Thursday morning.
Survivors include her husband, Harvey, a son, Floyd, of Ashtabula; five daughters, Mrs. Florence Camp of Red Haw, Mary Eileen of Cuyahoga Falls, Martha at home, Mrs. Mary Finley of south of New Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Helen Herr of Red Haw. Other survivors include five sisters, and a step-father, Adam Beach of Galion.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Red Haw church with Rev. A. B. Schuhm officiating. Burial will be made at Red Haw.

Mrs. Levina Hartman, 82, widow of George Hartman, died today at the home of her daughter, Mrs, Joseph Freer, 373
Marion avenue. She was born Oct 30, 1850 in Ashland county, the daughter of Solomon and Rebecca Wertman. Survivors
are two daughters, Mrs. Freer of Mansfield, and mrs. Laura Mechling of Dayton, two sons, J. F. Hartman of Mansfield
and H. E. Hartman of Ashland, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Her husband preceded her death
13 years ago. Mrs. Hartman was a former member of the Lutheran church of Ashland. The body is at the Heyl Funeral
home, Ashland, where services will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. Rev. A. H. Smith, pastor of the Ashland Lutheran
church will officiate and burial will be made in Ashland cemetery. |
