Three Young Men Escaped with Minor Injuries in Accident
Three young men of miraculously escaped death at 3:29 AM today when the car in which they were and turned over many times in an accident on route 40, 6 miles west of Cambridge. Richard L. Gates, Pearl Street, Newcomerstown, posted $25.00 bond and was to appear in Cambridge acting Mayor Fred Whitten's court; today On A reckless driving charge. He and Harvey Groves, 24 and Rain and DeVor, 22, both of Cambridge, were taken to a Swan Hospital and Cambridge, where they were treated for lacerations abrasions, and contusions. Gates was driving at a high rate of speed in a construction zone when he ran into a (unreadable) . The car hit the guardrail and turned over six times.

Auto Upsets, Catches Fire; Driver Fined
Newcomerstown firemen answered a call at 4:00 PM yesterday to two miles east of town on route 36 when a 1938 Ford coupe was destroyed by fire after an accident. James F. Welsch, 43, Port Washington, driver of the car paid a $10.00 and costs in Newcomerstown Mayor E. L.Barthalow' s court after the state highway patrol charged him with unsafe operation. The car went out of control in a bank, upsetting caught fire.

at their home on Locust street, conducted by Rev. Dr. Toland. The child was
