Cumminsville, Hamilton County, Ohio

The area of Cumminsville was surveyed by Israel Ludlow and began to be settled by Europeans about 1790 and was known then as Mill creek. Cumminsville was incorporated in 1865 and annexed by the city of Cincinnati in 1873. Today it is known divided by I-74 into the neighborhoods of Northside and South Cumminsville.
