ALBERT HARPER DIES SUDDENLY
--------
Member of Prominent Family Dies in Liberty Twp.

Mr. Albert Harper died Wednesday morning at his hoome in Liberty township at the age of 75 years from an attack of heart trouble which ended his life a short time after he was stricken. He was in his usual health and had not complained of special illness. In fact he had been active for a man of his age and had gone about his usual routine until the time of his death. He was stricken in the night and his wife was attracted by his unusual breathing. Her efforts to relieve him were in vain, death following immediately.
Mr. Harper was a member of a well known Jackson county family. Attorney John Harper now living in Columbus was one of the most prominent members of the family having until a few years ago been connected with the Jackson bar. Other members are Mrs. John Howell, and Mrs. Matilda Horton, Jackson; Mrs. J. D. Horton, Plevna, Kan.; Dr. E. A. Harper, Columbus; Mrs. Margaret Neeramer, New York; Dr. Joseph A. Harper, Wellston. His widow survives him and four children, Mrs. Thomas Coty and Joseph Harper, Rockford, Ill.; Mrs. Stella Claar and Mrs. Ida Brunnen, Springfield.
Clyde Mayhew is making the funeral arrangements and the burial will be from Oakland church, Saturday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Roy Standiford, of Coalton conducting the services.
