Mrs Carrie Gustin

Mrs. Carrie Gustin 86, of Rt. 1, Pedro, died at 9:15 a.m. Saturday at her home.

Mrs. Gustin was born in Lawrence County, daughter of the late William and Nancy Kingery Stephens. She was a member of the Sovereign Grace Missionary Baptist Church. She married James Morgan in 1907 and he died in 1928. She latter married Charles P. Gustin and preceded her in death in 1960/

Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Merrill (Edna) Bowman of Coal Grove, Mrs. Harold (Virgie) Lewis and Mrs. Harry (Phyllis) Parks of South Point, mrs. Hurley (Thelma Fliehman of Deering, Mrs. Charles (Phyllis) Bridges of Pedro, with who she resided, Mrs. Fowler (Vera) Layne of Ironton, Ralph Gustin of Flatwoods, Fred Gusstin of Jerome, Mich.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lorene Dement of Ironton, Flossie Dement of Jackson, Ella Keaton of Columbus; one brother Charles Stephens of Willow Wood.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Phillips Funeral Home with Rev. Gene McKee and Rev. Merlin Teets officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.
