Melancholy

The Michigan Sentinel, of the 9th ultimo, states, that five entire families, residing upon Locust Point, Ohio between Maumee Bay and Lower Sandusky, are supposed to have perished in the late gale. Their dwelling were situated on low lands, with extensive swamps in their rear, which were flooded at the commencement of the storm.
