"TOGETHER AGAIN FOREVER"

 Francis E. Mills "Sonny"

Francis E. Mills "Sonny," 75, went home to be with the Lord on May 18, 2001, after a long illness.

Born in Akron, he had worked for Goodyear Aerospace, retiring with 43 years service. He was a member of the Masonic Adoniram-Joppa Lodge 517, and a World War II Army veteran. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and camping with the Goodyear Camping Club.

Preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Rita, he is survived by his children, Edith Mills of Akron, Frank Mills of New Hampshire, and Barbara Mills of Chardon, as well as brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and friends.

"We will miss you and Mom deeply; once again, you are together."

Funeral services Monday, 10 a.m., at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., Pastor Steve Van Houten officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park, where V. F. W. Appleman Post 3294 and American Legion Post 281 will conduct military services. Friends may call at the funeral home TODAY, 2 to 4 p.m., where a Masonic service will be conducted at 4 p.m.

 Rita A. Mills

Rita A. Mills, 72, went home to be with the Lord, after a long illness, on April 5, 2000.

Born in Akron, she had worked for Purolator Products, Kent, Akron Standard and Stow Systems. Rita enjoyed crossword puzzles, crocheting, fishing, and camping with the Goodyear Camping Club.

Preceded in death by her brother, Paul Ortman; and loving friend, Dora Jean Forsythe, she is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Francis E. Mills; children, Edith E. Mills of Akron, Frank D. Mills of New Hampshire, and Barbara Mills of Chardon; six grandchildren, one great-granddaughter; brother, Lee Ortman of Illinois; as well as other family and friends. Rita will be forever loved and missed by all she touched in her life.

Funeral services Monday, 10 a.m., at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market Street. Rev. G. Rod Taylor officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. (Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home& Chapel, 535-7141.)
