MRS. JOHN FLINN AND DAUGHTER SPENT WEEKEND WITH MR. & MRS. PERSHALL
Mrs. John Flinn and daughter, Effie near Evansville, Ark., spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Dean Pershall.

ENTERTAINS IN HONOR OF BIRTHDAY
Mrs. J. L. Mathis and Mrs. L. L. Dannenberg entertained most royally last Saturday evening with a delightful six o’clock dinner and bridge party at the home of Mrs. Mathis, in honor of the birthday anniversary of Mr. J. L. Mathis. The evening was enjoyably spent at Bridge, there being seven tables at play. Those who enjoyed the evening were: Messrs and Mesdames Brigs, Hughes, Veercamp, Mathis, Wright, Burch, Waters, Yates, Daniels, Smith, McAnally, Carlson, Dannenberg, Mrs. Ruth White, Francis Nale, Mr. H. O. Yoe, Mr. Kemper. The Misses Lela and Vera Fowler, Alice Smith and Julia Mathis assisted in serving.

FOUNTAINS ENTERAIN
Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Fountain entertained at 6:30 dinner Thursday evening of last week in honor of Joe Patton, who contemplates leaving soon for Selden, Kansas, where he will be connected with the Foster Lumber Co. at that place. The following were present: W. M. Stroud, Edgar Wilkin, Nelson Patton, Geo. Dupy, Joe Patton. – Tonkawa News.

BRING IN YOUR VEGETABLES
Among the folks competing for the Record with the largest onions are C. M. Larwood, Mrs. T. E. Rector, Bennet Allison and N. C. Myers. Mrs. Rector is the winner up to this time with a Bermuda onion weighing 1 pound and 7 ounces. Bring in your big potatoes and any other products that will make a good show and we will be glad to display them in our windows. The owner of the largest potato brought in next week will receive the Record for one year.
