RECEIVES INJURY
Samuel Poor, small son of Fate Poor of near Stilwell, received very painful injuries this week when a rifle which he was cleaning exploded and inflicted severe and painful powder burns about the face and hands. From information received it appears that young Poor was attempting to clean the rifle with a cleaning rod while the gun was loaded, the rod accidently was pushed too hard against the cartridge, thus causing it to explode.
