Little Albert Wellborn was painfully injured one day last week. He was out on the creek with hit father and was playing near where a horse was tied to a barb-wire fence. The horse became frightened and run past Albert pulling the wire from the post and catching the little fellow in it cutting his leg to the bone, between the knee and ankle. Mr. Wellborn tried to
catch the wire and throw it over the boy's head but it was pulled through his hand and badly
lacerated three fingers. The injured boy was brought to
town at once and his wounds dressed and at this time they are healing rapidly. It was a narrow escape for the little man for he might have been cut even more seriously.

Hurt By a Horse.
Ed Haskell, son of Lou Haskell, of Clear Creek, was in town Monday on crutches. He was riding some horses when his horse fell catching Ed's right leg under him and spraining it badly. It was fortunate that a leg was not broken.
