2009.
Services will

at 10 a.m. Monday in First
Christian Church Chapel in
Canadian with the
Rev.
Kenny
Platte,
officiating.
Burial
will be in Higgins Cemetery
by Hughs Funeral
Home of
Canadian.
Lena was
born
March
31, 1919,
in Okeene, Okla., to the late
Alexander Karbs and
Lydia Rauh Karbs. She
attended
schools in
Blaine County,
Okla.
She married
Eddie
Forbau
on Dec.
2, 1938, in Higgins. He
preceded her in
death on
July 15,
2007. She moved
to
Higgins in 1938 from Okeene. She was a
homemaker and
affiliated with First Baptist
Church in
Higgins
and Shattuck,
Okla. She
also was
preceded in
death by
a sister,
Edna Babitzke.
Survivors
include
three sons,
Darrel Forbau
of
Okeene, Terry Forbau of Higgins and
Gordon Forbau
of Houston;
four daughters, Janice
Townsend and husband
James of
Rush
Springs,
Okla.,
LaDonna Morrow and husband Eddie Bob of
Darrouzett,
JaNelle
Sutton
and
husband Jerry of Elk City, Okla., and
Edwadine Forbau of
Ozark, Mo.; a
surrogate daughter,
Debbie Hill of
Shattuck;

grandchildren;
14
great-grandchildren;
and three
great-great-grandchildren. The
family
suggests
memorials
be to
Shattuck
Nursing
Center, 201 N.
Alfalfa St.,
Shattuck, OK 73858. Viewing will be at
First Christian Church, 402 Purcell
Ave., in Canadian.

13, 1923,

Baggs,
Okla., to
Edward and Martha
Hankins
Wilson,
he married
Mary
Hooper. He
later
married
Florence
Smith on
Jan.
14, 1961,
in Canton. She
survives.
Also
surviving
are
two sons,
Lloyd Jr.
of
Bardolph and
Randy of
Vermont,
Ill.;
one
daughter,
Janet Utsinger
of
Galesburg; one
brother, Glenn of
Tulsa, Okla.; two
sisters, Edna Reed of Oregon
state and
Nanny Ralls of
Mustang,
Iowa;
one niece, Shannin
McAllister of
Canton, whom
he
raised;
eight
grandchildren; and seven
great-grandchildren.
Four
brothers and four
sisters
preceded
him
in
death.
He
worked at
Perkins
Gardens
in rural
Canton and later was
a drill
press operator at
International
Harvester.
He
was a member of Loyal Order of
the
Moose 784. Services
will
be at
noon Friday at
Oaks-Hines Funeral Home,
Canton.
The Rev. Michael Stein
will officiate.
Visitation
will
be
one hour before
services at the
funeral home. Burial
will be in
Oakwood
Cemetery,
Macomb.
