Sammie J. V. (Pete) Brewer

Rush Springs - SAMMIE J. V. "PETE" BREWER, 85, of Rush Springs,
passed away Thursday, January 26, 2006, in Rush Springs.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Vimy Ridge Baptist Church in
Rush Springs with David Hale officiating. Burial will be in Rush
Springs Cemetery under direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in
Rush Springs.
Local survivors include a daughter, Kaye Hatzenbuehler and husband,
Don, of Duncan.
Bearers will be David McCoy, Jim Brewer, Ken McAdoo, David
Hatzenbuehler and J.R. Hale.

Dr. Gene Brooks, D.M.E.

Dr. Gene Brooks of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, July
21, 2007.
Born June 15, 1936, on a farm near Rush Springs, Okla., Dr. Brooks
led a musical life. He received his Bachelor of Music degree from
Oklahoma Baptist University, as well as his Master of Music and
Doctor of Music degrees from the University of Oklahoma. He
completed additional graduate study at the University of Colorado.
Dr. Brooks served as choir director and chairman of the music
departments at Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma, and
Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. He also chaired
the Department of Music at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock.
Dr. Brooks received the 1985 Profile in Excellence Award from
Oklahoma Baptist University and the 1996 Distinguished Alumni Award
in Music from Oklahoma Baptist University. In 1997, he received the
University of Oklahoma School of Music Distinguished Alumni Fellow
Award. He also served as minister of music for numerous churches in
Oklahoma, Texas, and Colorado.
Choirs under Dr. Brooks' direction appeared in concerts throughout
the United States, including Carnegie Hall in New York City. They
also performed at the National Convention of MTNA (Music Teachers
National Association) and state conventions of the Oklahoma Music
Educators Association. One of his choirs was selected to appear at
the Choral Symposium in Vienna, Austria, sponsored by the American
Choral Directors Association. In addition to performing Gustav
Mahler's Symphony No. 8 in Vienna, the choir toured France, Germany,
and Austria. Another of Dr. Brooks' choirs was chosen to perform at
the National Convention of MENC (Music Educators National
Conference). In addition, the Singing Texans, a show choir under his
direction, presented twenty-five concerts on a U.S.O. tour of the
Caribbean.
In 1977, Dr. Brooks became the National Executive Director of the
American Choral Directors Association and continued to serve in that
position until his death. Prior to assuming his position as ACDA
National Executive Director, Dr. Brooks served ACDA in other
capacities, including ACDA National Treasurer, Program Chair for the
ACDA National Convention held in Kansas City, Missouri, and Chairman
of the ACDA Division Convention held in Dallas, Texas.
In addition to ACDA, Dr. Brooks held numerous positions in other
music organizations. He served as the Secretary General for the
International Federation for Choral Music (IFCM). He served as
Chairman of Music in Higher Education for MTNA. In addition, MTNA
named him as its national choral chairman. Dr. Brooks also held
numerous positions at the state, division, and national levels in
MTNA, MENC, and ACDA.
Dr. Brooks is survived by his wife Nancy, of Edmond, Oklahoma; son,
Steven, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sister Linda Smith and husband
Brunell of Marlow, Oklahoma; brother Orvil Brooks and wife Bonnie of
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and sister Virginia Huffine and husband
Alton of Pottsboro, Texas, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and
cousins. Dr. Brooks is preceded in death by parents Frank and Ethel
Brooks, and sister Evelyn Lancaster and husband Harley of Duncan,
Oklahoma.
The family will hold visitation on Friday, July 27, 2007, from 6 to
8 p.m. at Guardian Funeral Homes North Chapel, 11600 North
Pennsylvania Avenue, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Funeral Services will be held at First Baptist Church Oklahoma City,
1201 North Robinson, Oklahoma City, Okla., on Saturday, July 28,
2007, at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at 2:30 p.m. at Rush
Springs Cemetery in Rush Springs, Okla.

Letha
Elizabeth Brooks
Letha Elizabeth Brooks, 90, died Thursday,
December 14, 2000 in Marlow Manor Nursing Home, Marlow.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 16 in the
First Assembly of God Church of Rush Springs with Bro. Eugene Howeth
officiating. Music was by Sandra Page and Sonjia Dalrymple. Burial
was in Rush Springs Cemetery under the direction of
Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home.
Mrs. Brooks was born March 28, 1910, in Greenville, Texas, the
daughter of Issiac Wilburn Cobb and Viola (Long) Cobb. She and Jack
Douthit were married September. 27, 1924 in Duncan. She preceded her
in death. She then married to Tom Brooks Oct 7, 1950, in Chickasha.
He died October 19, 1977.
She came to Oklahoma in 1913 in a covered wagon. She attended Cement
schools and was a resident of Rush Springs since 1955. She was a
retired home health care worker and a member of the First Assembly
of God Church in Rush Springs. She was preceded in death by two son,
Jack Douthit and Paul Clifford Douthit; one brother, J D Cobb; and
one sister, Eual Plowman.
Survivors include two sons, Melvin Douthit and his wife Jeanie of
Rush Springs, and Thomas Lester Brooks, Jr and his wife Margaret of
Ada; two daughters, Corene Swanson and Marlow and Lorene Alaniz and
her husband E J of Marlow; A sister, Willie Mae Douthit of Rush
Springs; 15 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 2 great great
grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Randall Harris, Mark Dalrymple, Billy Pittman, Gene
Bratcher, Bill Page, Deon Duke, Honorary pallbearer, Jim Norton.

W. H. Brooks
Mr. W. H. Brooks, one of the old settlers of Rush
Springs, died at his home two miles east of this city, last Thursday
morning at five o'clock, at the age of sixty seven years.
Mr. Brooks has been ailing for sometime, though his illness did not
assume a serious nature until a short time before his death, which
resulted from a complication of Bright's disease.
The funeral services were held at the Rush Springs cemetery, under
the auspices of the Masonic fraternity of which he had long been a
member. He leaves six children to mourn his loss, his wife having
died several years ago.
The Hearld joins with many sympathizing friends in tendering to the
bereaved ones its sincere condolence.

Don Brown
Don Brown, 14-year-old Webster junior high school
student, was accidentally shot and killed Friday at Rush Springs
while preparing to go hunting with a friend,, Billy Moore, 14, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Moore, of Rush Springs.
The youth, the son of Mrs. Robert H. Walker, 127
Northwest Eighteenth street, was struck in the stomach by a charge
from a .410 gauge shotgun and died enroute to a Marlow hospital.
"The boys were near the Moore home when the shot
was fired," Robert H. Walker, the victim's step-father, said at Rush
Springs. "Don was walking behind Billy, who was carrying the
shotgun on his shoulder. Don was carrying a .22 caliber rifle.
"Don called to Billy, who was wearing a Boy Scout
uniform. When Billy turned around, the trigger of the gun caught on
an ornament and the gun was discharged. It was entirely accidental."
Don was spending the holidays with his
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Will Henderson, at Rush Springs. Services
will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Rush Springs Baptist
church and burial will be in the Rush Springs cemetery.

Etta Waniece Brown
Etta Waniece Brown, 83, of Chickasha died
Wednesday, November 22, 2000 in Chickasha.
Graveside service was held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 25 at
Rush Springs Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home of
Chickasha.
Mrs. Brown was born September 4, 1917 in Mena AR, the daughter of
Jesses James and Hazel (Leeper) Golden.
She and Bill Brown were married in the little Rush Community in
Grady County in 1935. He preceded her in death in 1951.
Mrs. Brown came to Oklahoma as a child and had lived in Rush Springs
most of her life.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Peggy
Jo Brown in February, 1941; and one grandson, Richard Lynn Brown on
June 15, 1982.
Survivors include 3 daughter, June Stringfellow of Rush Springs,
Arva Guffee of Verden, and Petty Ann Ratliff of Ninnekah; two sons,
Bobby Brown of Shidler and Jerry Brown of Rush Springs; one brother,
Joe Golden of Casa Grande AZ; 21 grandchildren, 41 great
grandchildren; and seven great great grandchildren

Haskell Bruner
Funeral Services For Haskell BRUNER Were Held
Monday
Funeral services for Byron Haskell BRUNER, 64, Route 2, Rush
Springs, were held Aug. 14, 1972 at the Southern Baptist Church in
Rush Springs.
BRUNER was born Sept. 28, 1907 in Rush Springs and died about 7:10
pm Thursday, Aug. 10, 1972, at his home following a heart attack. He
had been an oil field worker and farmer. He was married on Sept. 3,
1938 to Miss J. FERGUSON in Chickasha.
Interment was in the Rush Springs Cemetery under direction of the
Callaway-Smith Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Lee Crittendon, Johnnie Spears, Woodrow Duke,
Raymond GibbsS, Cleatus Doyel, Henry Sweany, Junior Hale and O.Z.
Harrison.
Survivors include his wife of the home, two sons, four daughters,
one brother, three sisters, and nine grandchildren.

Velma Lee Burges
Funeral services for Velma Lee Burges, 84, of Rush
Springs, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 26, 2001,
at the Southern Baptist Church with Rev. Elmer Whitehead
officiating.
Velma Lee Burges was born December 15, 1916, in Ninnekah, to Arch
Miller and Annie (Boswell) Miller, and died Monday, September 24,
2001, at Grady Memorial Hospital.
She married Arthur G. Burges November 17, 1934, in El Reno,
Oklahoma.
He preceded her in death on July 22, 1960.
Velma was a resident of California for 35 years and a Rush Springs
resident for 50 years, graduating with the Ninnekah High School
Class of 1934. She was a office clerk and a member of the Southern
Baptist Church, Rush Springs.
She is preceded in death by 1 daughter, LaDonna Davis, and 1
granddaughter, Patricia Gail Grace.
Survivors include: daughter: Ramona McGuire and husband Brad, of
Lancaster, CA; son: Leon Burges and wife Karen, of Rush Springs; 2
brothers: Tom Miller, of Terrell, TX, and Bill Miller, of Ft. Worth,
TX; sister: Edith Williams, of Bakersfield, CA; 7 grandchildren and
9 great great grandchildren.
Interment will be in the Rush Springs Cemetery under the direction
of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel.

Opal Gladys Burnett

OPAL GLADYS BURNETT, 94, Chickasha, Oklahoma, passed away Monday,
May 1, 2006 in Chickasha.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, May 3, 2006, at the
Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs, with Rev. Elmer
Whitehead officiating.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Freeman, John Freeman, David Freeman,
Austin Wilkenson, Kent Burnett and Tim Davis. All are her grandsons.
Burial will be in the Rush Springs Cemetery, under the direction of
Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs, Oklahoma.
Opal was born Thursday, April 4, 1912 in Lambert, Oklahoma, to the
late Elbert Henderson and the late Cora (Oringderff) Henderson. Opal
attended school at Duke. She married Loy William Burnett on July 8,
1933 in Duke, Okla.
They moved to Rush Springs in 1938. They owned the Rush Springs
Hardware Store from 1955 to 1970. Loy preceded her in death on March
15, 1992. In 2000 Opal moved to Chickasha where she lived the
remainder of her life.
She enjoyed reading and visiting with her children and
grandchildren. Opal was very active in her church and enjoyed having
Sunday school parties at her house. She also enjoyed working in the
gardens and watching the birds. Opal had one of the prettiest yards
that was covered with flowers year around. She was a member of the
Southern Baptist Church in Rush Springs.
Survivors include three sons, George Durwood Burnett of Chickasha,
Okla., Loy William Burnett III and wife Pamela of Lawton, Okla., and
Jerald Wayne Burnett and wife Kathy of Lawton; three daughters, Rita
Jean Christian of
Chickasha, Bonita Pearl Freeman and husband James of Chickasha, and
Darlene Newlin of Louisville, Ky.; 18 grandchildren; 46
great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; a brother,
Carroll Henderson of Bixby, Okla.; two sisters, Doris Wallace of
Altus, Okla., and Zelma Hunt of Sapulpa, Okla.; several nieces and
nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; three grandchildren,
Leslie Nicole Burnett, Loy William Burnett IV and Vickie Dianne
Jackson; one great-granddaughter, Jessica Meagan Christian; parents
and two sisters.

Lena (Bell) Byrd
Lena 'Bell' Byrd, 78, of OKC., received her wings
for Heaven on Jan. 20, 2008. Born Dec. 5, 1929 to Sterling and Cleo
V. Bramlett in Anadarko, OK.
She has four siblings, Edna Jones, OKC.,
OK, Betty Hall and Jewell Gonzales, Chickasha, OK, and David Rexro
of Ft. Cobb, OK. She married the love of her life, Cleo T. Byrd on
July 1, 1944. They were blessed with five children: two sons, Alvin
Byrd and wife Vicky, Donnie Bussell and wife Gail, both of OKC., OK;
three daughters, Diana Ledford and husband Jack, Ramona Reyes and
husband Stan, both of OKC., OK, Janell Williams and husband Jason,
Yukon, OK. She raised three boys as her own, Ricky Young, OKC., OK,
Jimmy Bridges, Taylor, TX, Bobby Bridges, Noble, OK; 10
grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 2
great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other
friends and relatives.
Awaiting her in Heaven are two children,
Tommy Ray Byrd and Emma Byrd; her beloved Uncle Homer; and many
relatives and friends.
She attended church since being saved when
she was just 15 years old. She retired from Janitorial work when her
health began failing her in 2005. She was a hard working wonderful
wife for 63 years. She not only raised her own children, but many
from broken homes. Her kitchen was always open, at any hour, day or
night; always a place to rest, a caring ear to listen, and a smile
on her face. A beautiful mother with a heart of pure gold. She had
the kindest spirit, loved unconditionally and brought happiness to
so many. You will be forever missed.
Services will be 10:00 AM Wed.,
Jan. 23rd, at Vondel Smith South Colonial Chapel. Committal service
will be 2:00 PM at Rush Springs Cem.

Bobbie Estelle Cast
Bobbie Estelle Cast, 86, died Wednesday, January
4, in Shafter, California following a short illness. She was a long
time resident of Rush Springs prior to moving to Shafter six months
ago.
Mrs. Cast was born October 4, 1897 in Breckenridge, Texas. She was
married to Elbert Ray Cast on January 26, 1918, in Duncan. He
preceded her in death on October 30, 1961.
A Rush Springs resident most of her life, she was in the grocery
business with her husband for several years. She also worked as a
nurses aide.
Services were held Sunday, January 8th, at 2:30 pm form the Southern
Baptist Church in Rush Springs, with Elmer Whitehead, Jr., pastor of
the church, and Clif Werhan officiating. Burial was in the Rush
Springs Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Loveta Compton of Shafter, and
Claudia Couch of Oklahoma City; one son, J.R. Cast of Marlow; one
brother, Ennis Ray of Carmichael, California; seven grandchildren;
eleven great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
Serving as pallbearers were B. J. Crittendon, Junior Hale, Joe
Mileur, Keneth Roberts, Wallace Dowling, and Hershel Wilburn.

Elbert Ray Cast
Funeral services for Elbert Ray Cast, 61, were
held at 2 pm Wednesday from the Southern Baptist Church with Rev
Leroy Raley, pastor of the Baptist Church at Nicoma Park and former
pastor here. He was assisted by Rev. Don Wester, pastor here and
Homer Anderson, minister of the Rush Springs Church of Christ.
Cast died Monday at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was
born June 16, 1900, at Bray and had made his home in this area all
his life.
Interment was in the Rush Springs cemetery under direction of
Callaway-Smith Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Raymond Gibbs, Alva Tims, Bill Mann, Ollie
Harrison, Grover Spears and Hershel Wilburn.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bobbie Cast of the home; two
daughters, Mrs. Robert Compton of Bakersfield, California and Mrs.
Gordon Couch of Oklahoma City; one son, J. R. Cast of Rush Springs;
two sisters, Mrs. Alpha Clay and Mrs. Oleta Reeves, both of Oklahoma
City; two brothers, Clyde Cast of Rush Springs and Clifford Cast of
Midland, Texas; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

RALPH GENE CAST, 74, of Marlow, who died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2004, in
Duncan, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Rush Springs Cemetery. David
Hale and Dutch Mann will be officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel
of Rush Springs.

Grace G. Campbell
Graveside services for Grace G. Campbell, 87, of
Ninnekah, will be held Friday, September 2, 2005, at 10:30 A.M., in
the Rush Springs Cemetery with Johnny Wray officiating.
Grace Campbell was born April 16, 1918, in Agawam, Oklahoma, the
daughter of Herschel Lindsay and Catherine Grace Lindsey. She died
Wednesday, August 31, 2005 at her home in Ninnekah.
Grace grew up and attended school in the Agawam area.
In 1934, Grace married Cecil (Dude) Berry in Ninnekah, Oklahoma.
This union brought them their three children: Janis, Kathryn, and
Herschel.
Dude preceded Grace in death, and she later married Thomas Campbell.
Grace worked at Tinker Air Force Base and at Baptist Hospital until
her retirement in 1972. After her retirement she joined several
organizations and became an active member of the Ninnekah and Agawam
community. She thoroughly enjoyed herself and made a point to meet
and make as many friends as possible.
She loved the outdoors and worked in her yard. Her yard was one of
her pride and joys. She also loved animals, dancing, and visiting
with friends. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed cooking for her
family. She looked forward to any occasion when the family would
gather at her house for a family meal.
She was a member of the Assembly of God Church, the Ninnekah Home
Demonstration Club, and the Senior Citizens Club.
She is preceded in death by both husbands and both parents.
She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law: Janis and Al
Underwood, of Newcastle, and Kathryn Weddle Bayne, of Ninnekah; one
son and daughter-in-law: Herschel (Ed) and Debra Berry, of Oklahoma
City; one brother and sister-in-law: Edwin and Pat Lindsey, of
Austin, Texas; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and
five great great grandchildren.
Services are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.

Alma F. Carter

Funeral service for ALMA F. CARTER, 93, of Rush Springs, Oklahoma,
will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, January 27, 2004, at the
Southern Oaks Church of Christ, Chickasha.
Interment will be in the Rush Springs Cemetery under the direction
of Sevier Funeral Home.
Alma F. Carter was born August 29, 1910, in Lone Wolf, Oklahoma, the
daughter of Richard and Rhoda (Smith) Dyer, and died peacefully at
her home in Rush Springs following a lengthy illness, surrounded by
her loved ones.
She and Alton Carter were married December 3, 1927, in Lone Wolf,
Oklahoma.
Mrs. Carter spent her life serving others. She was a faithful wife
and mother and will be missed by everyone. She was a an active
member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Alton Carter;
her parents, Richard and Rhoda Dyer; three brothers, Wilbur Dyer,
Burnace Dyer and Alva Dyer (her twin); two sisters, Ollie Green and
Mary Horton.
Survivors include two daughters, Lucy Firth and husband, Darrel, of
Lancaster, California, Anna Belle Hair and husband, Jerry, of Rush
Springs; one son, Houston Carter and wife, Barbara, of Sacramento,
California; five brothers, Finace Dyer, Floyd Dyer, Dan Dyer,
Leonard Dyer
and Curtis Dyer; two sisters, Esther Stone and Mary Belle Hughes; 11
grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren;
and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Mary Katherine Carter

Former Rush Springs resident MARY KATHERINE CARTER, 85, of Duncan, passed away Sunday, May 14,
2006, in Duncan.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in
Rush Springs with Zac Priest officiating. Burial will be in Rush
Springs Cemetery.
Bearers will be Jack Porter, Sam Darst, Robert Bosley, Josh Carter,
Billy Bayans and Zac Bayans.

Anna Lovora Cast

Funeral service for Anna Lavora Cast, 23, who died Saturday morning
in an Oklahoma City hospital, was held Monday afternoon in the
Missionary Baptist church, Rev. L. W. Raley, pastor, conducting the
service. Interment was made in the Rush Springs cemetery, with
Callaway & Mullican in charge.
Anna Lavora Cast was born April 8, 1912, in the Acme community west
of Rush Springs, where she was reared, attending the Acme and Rush
Springs schools. Her father, Frank Cast, preceded her in death, in
1918. Mrs. Cast and her children left Acme in 1930, after the Acme
mill, where Lavora's brothers were employed, closed down. They
moved to Oklahoma City, where the family home has been since that
time.
Lavora was active in church work here, and at the time of her death
was a willing worker in the Eastern Avenue Baptist church in
Oklahoma City. She was held in the highest esteem by all who knew
her. The cause of Lavora's death was a fractured skull, received
last Thursday while riding in a car with Frank Kruta, 20-year-old
Oklahoma City youth, she became nervous and jumped from the moving
car. Neither Lavora nor Kruta could give a reason for her action,
Lavora stated simply that she became nervous, and later that there
was no cause for charges to be preferred against Kruta.
Kruta stated that he was taking Lavora to the home in which she had
employment, and after the accident he took her to a point near her
own home, where she stated that she did not need medical attention,
got out of his car and walked to her home.
From her home, Lavora was quickly taken to an Oklahoma City
hospital, where it was determined that her skull was fractured. Her
condition became worse early Saturday and she passed away that
morning, her body being brought to Rush Springs that evening for the
last rites.
Surviving are her mother; three sisters, Mrs. Alta Guinn of Ward,
Ark., Mrs. Opie Kendrick of Breckenridge, Texas, and Mrs. Esta
Deatherage of Oklahoma City; two brothers, O. J. Cast of Wewoka, and
Audie Cast of Eunice, New Mexico; an uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs.
John Cast of Rush Springs, and a host of other relatives and friends
in this community.

Wednesday, March 14, 2007, in Rush Springs.

Chapel in Rush Springs.

Reba Lynn Cast
Reba Lynn Cast, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Olen Cast, was buried in the local cemetery Saturday. Bro Dorval
Tabb conducted the services at the cemetery. The child lived only
one day.

Emma Sue Caveny
Emma Sue Caveny, 84, of Rush Springs died Friday,
September 3, 2004 in Oklahoma City. She had been a resident of
Baptist Village of Oklahoma City.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, in the
Souther Baptist Church in Rush Springs with the Rev. Elmer Whitehead
officiating.
Burial was in Rush Springs Cemetery under the direction of
Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home.
Mrs. Caveny was born October 4, 1919 in AMity, Ark., the daughter of
Robert Mowery and Maggie [Jones] Mowery.
She and Bill Caveny were married January 12, 1937 in Chickasha.
She lived in Amity, Ark. from birth until 1926, then moved to Rush
Springs until 1945. From there she moved to Lawton until 1951. In
1951 she moved back to Rush Springs and has lived there ever since.
Sue loved her job greeting people during visitation at the funeral
home. In 2003, Sue received the Rush Springs Pioneer Award. She was
a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, quilting and doing crossword
puzzles. She was a member of the Southern Baptist Church since 1955.
She was preceded in death by her husband on July 23, 1995. She was
also preceded in death by her parents four sisters and one brother.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald Caveny and wife Mary of Oklahoma
City and WIlliam (Bill) Caveny and wife Susan of Rush Springs; two
grandsons Donnie Caveny and wife Shelley of San Antonio, Texas and
Jason Caveny of Stillwater; two great grandchildren, Cameron and
Kylie Caveny of San Antonio Texas; two sisters; Mardine Lewis of
Rush Springs and Bertha Bryant of Hastings; and many nieces and
nephews.
Pallbearers were Larry Caveny, Lynn Caveny, Randy Caveny, Mike Cook,
Wayne Caveny, and Dale Caveny.
Honorary pallbearers were Don Mileur, Jimmy Williams and Junior Hale.
