Elizabeth Marie Holding

Funeral service for Elizabeth Marie Holding, age 89, of Seminole, OK, formerly of Chickasha, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2003, in the McRay Funeral Home Chapel.
Elizabeth was born the daughter of Thomas Pleasant Duke and Ollie Mae Rankin Duke on December 4, 1913, at the family home southwest of Chickasha.
She died November 9, 2003, in Seminole.
Elizabeth attended first through eighth grade at the Kechi School, then attended Cement High School until graduation.
In 1934, soon after graduation, she married H. T. Holding.
They lived many years in the Ninnekah area, where they farmed and reared their family.
In 1974, they moved to Chickasha, where she lived until moving to Seminole in 1994.
Elizabeth was a member of the College Heights Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, H. T. Holding in 1992, two brothers, Harold and Ovyle Duke, and her parents.
Survivors include: son and wife, Tommy and Lynda Holding of Blanchard; daughter and husband, Patricia Ann and Terry Rackley of Shawnee; daughter and husband, Linda Kay and Ed Buss of Shawnee; sister, Flora Petty of Chickasha; sister-in-law, Elwanda Duke of Rush Springs; nephew and wife, Harold and Jackie Duke of Rush Springs; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
Interment will be in the Rush Springs Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.
 

 

Hazel Lee Elizabeth Hooper

Funeral for Hazel Lee Elizabeth Hooper, 82, Cement, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the First Baptist Church, Cement, with the Rev. David Douglass, pastor, officiating.
Mrs. Hooper died Monday, March 21, 1994, in a Chickasha convalescent center following a lengthy illness. Burial will be in the Rush Springs Cemetery under direction of Robbins Funeral Home, Fletcher.
She was born December 4, 1911, in Arkansas. She grew up near Glenwood, Arkansas. She moved to the Rush Springs area in 1941. She married Edward Hooper on January 2, 1942, in Duncan. He died April 11, 1977. She moved to Cement in 1947. Mrs. Hooper was a member of the First Baptist Church, Cement, the order of the Eastern Star, and the Election Board and Senior Citizens group.
Survivors include a daughter, Irma Pfleiderer, Cement; a son, James of Edmond' two brothers; Alva White, Oregon, and Joe White, Indiana; two sisters; Ruby Spec, California, and Ruth Yarbrough, Virginia; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
 

 

 

Helen Elsie Huffine

HELEN ELSIE HUFFINE, 85, of Marlow, passed away Friday, April 13, 2007, in Rush Springs.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Southern Baptist Church in Rush Springs, with Rev. Johnny Ray officiating. Burial will be in the Rush Springs Cemetery under direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs.
Helen was born April 19, 1921, in Marlow, to Charles Robertson and Cecil Young Robertson. Helen married James Wesley Huffine on September 5, 1942 in Muskogee, Okla. He preceded her in death on May 27, 1986. Helen had lived in the Rush Springs area all of her life. She graduated from Rush Springs High School and attended beauty school. Helen was a retired beautician. She enjoyed working outside, traveling, china painting and knitting. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Helen was a member of the Southern Baptist Church in Rush Springs.
Survivors include a son, Phil Huffine and wife Ibbie of Anadarko; two grandchildren, Kevin Huffine and wife Kristen of Waco, Texas, and Terra Dirickson and husband Derek of Waxhaw, N.C.; three great-grandchildren, Derek Hall, Elisha Hall and Sloan Huffine; several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers are Neal Owen, Arnold May, Phillip Myers, J.B. Horning, Charles Horning and Raymond Myers.

Sam H. Jackson

SAM. H. JACKSON DEAD
Sam. H. Jackson, prominent citizen, contractor and ex-Marshall of Rush Springs, died suddenly at his home in the west part of the City, at thirty minutes past Twelve o'clock Thursday.
The Physician stated that his sudden death was caused by the rupture of a blood vessel in his head. He was a member of the I.O.O.F. and W.O.W. lodges and was 52 years old. He had lived here Thirty Years. The deceased leaves a wife and nine children, besides two brothers, and a host of friends, who mourn his sudden demise. We extend sympathy to the bereaved family in their sorrow.

 

 

George M. Johnson

Rites for G. Johnson Held in Church Today

Services were held today at 2:30 in the Southern Baptist Church for George M. Johnson. Rev. Robert Young officiated, assisted by Rev. Tom Broughtown of Pauls Valley.

George Melvin Johnson died at his home at 4 pm Tuesday, May 12, 1959, after being ill about 5 months with a heart condition. Mr. Johnson was born at Decatur, Texas, May 13, 1892. He was 66 years, lacking one day being 67 years of age. He grew up, went to school and lived in Texas until he came to Oklahoma in 1927.

He was married to Mora Bond, December 20, 1914 and to this union was born three daughters; Bela, Flora Fay and Dolly; and a son, Jasper.
His wife died January 13, 1925.

Mr. Johnson was married to Winnie Gossett, March 28, 1938. They have made their home in and near Rush Springs since that time where he has been a farmer and a carpenter.

Survivors are his wife and son, Jasper, of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Bela McClure of Rush Springs, Mrs. Flora Fay Cantwell of Midwest City, and Mrs. Dolly Cantwell of Oklahoma City; two step-daughters, Mrs. Winona Wettengel of Henrietta, Texas and Mrs. Maxine Cast of Midland, Texas; one brother, Joe Johnson and one sister, Mrs. Exa Jones both of Duncan; another sister, Mrs. Mercia Reagan of Decatur, Texas; six half-sisters, seven half-brothers, Mrs. Dorie Jones of Cox City, Mrs. Ora Hudman and Elmer Johnson of Abilene, Texas, Mrs. Vera Smith, Mrs. Bertha Shoemake, Sam Johnson and Charlie Johnson of California, Mrs. Katie Black of Alex, Milton Johnson of Chickasha, and Johnny Johnson who lives in Montana. Other survivors include thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Burial will be in the Rush Springs cemetery."

Bettie Mae Jones

Funeral Held for Mrs. Bettie Mae Jones


Funeral Services for Mrs. Bettie Mae Jones, 66 were held Wednesday afternoon in the Church of Christ with J. W. Andrews in charge.

Mrs. Jones died July 20 in a Chickasha hospital after an extended illness.

Pallbearers were: Hershel Wilburn, Elton Teel, Spencer Bernard, Carson Milsap, Don Jacobs and Elbert Cast.

Special songs by a church group were: "Will the Circle be Unbroken', "Precious Memories", "The Old Rugged Cross", and "How Beautiful Heaven Must Be."

Bettie Mae Jones was born in Corsicana, Texas. She moved with her family to Rush Springs in 1902 and was married to William A. Jones, January 23, 1910.

She was a member of the Church of Christ which she joined in 1910 and the Rebekah Lodge.

She was survived by one daughter, Mrs. Stella Coffee, south of Rush Springs and one son Arthur W. Jones, Oklahoma City. Two sisters, Mrs. Willie Richardson and Mrs. Jenise Burns, both of Rush Springs. Other survivors are eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Interment was in the Rush Springs Cemetery under direction of the Callaway Mullican Funeral Home.

 

 

Glen Gage Jones

GLEN GAGE JONES, 88, of Rush Springs, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2007 in Lawton.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Vimy Ridge Baptist Church east of Rush Springs, with David Hale and Gary Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Rush Springs Cemetery, under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs.
Glen was born May 4, 1918, in Rush Springs, to Joe and Ethel Gage Shockley Jones. Glen lived most of his life in Rush Springs where he attended school. He joined the US Army and obtained the rank of M/SGT during WWII, where he was a construction machine operator. He supervised 125 men in construction and maintenance on roads and airports. He also supervised the oiling, greasing and cleaning of machines.
He married Juanita Melrose Goodspeed on June 22, 1947 in Wilbarger County, Texas. She preceded him in death on Dec. 19, 1981. On April 27, 1983, he married Dorothy Joan Lindsey Reeves in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Glen managed the Case dealership for Ted Cline, and operated the Sinclair station. He worked with heavy equipment in the oilfield for several years. Ranching was his main life-long occupation. Glen was the County Commissioner around 1960 to the 1970's. Glen enjoyed hunting, fishing, horses, dominoes and gardening. He went to Alaska on a hunting trip and shot six bears. In 1968 Glen was awarded the Outstanding Citizen Award, and in 2004 he received the Pioneer Award. Glen was a member of the Rush Springs Lion's Club, American Quarter Horse Association, V.F.W. and the Vimy Ridge Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Jones of the home; two sons, Gary Jones of Wynnewood, Okla., and Dick Jones and wife Tina of Rush Springs; two grandchildren, Joe Allen Jones and wife Candace of Rush Springs, and Ashlea Jones of Rush Springs; a great-grandchild, Jace Jones of Rush Springs; a sister, Jean Morris of Marlow, Okla.; and several close friends, too many to mention by name.
He was preceded in death by his first wife; parents; brothers, Paul and Jack; sisters, Lois, Corine, Carman and Louselle.
Pallbearers will be Duke Trimble, Chris White, Cody White, Darrin Horton, Kyle Jones and Jerome Jones.
Honorary pallbearers will be his domino buddies, Tony Day, Billy Evans, James C. Heilman, Arnold Davis, Jack Porter Sr., Morris McAdoo, Joe Tunnell, Kenneth McAdoo, Gary Bray, Speck Woody, Leo Smith, Walt Reick, Gail McAdoo and Jeff McGuire.

James Montgomery Jones

J. M. "UNCLE JIMMIE" JONES died Friday afternoon in his home here following a siege of pneumonia, at the age of 81 years and three months. Funeral services was held Saturday afternoon in the Church of Christ, Rev C. W. Spencer conducting the service, and interment was made in the Rush Springs Cemetery with Callaway and Muliican in charge.
"Uncle Jimmie" was born December 15, 1853 in Mississippi. On April 19, 1877 he was united in marriage with Miss Jennie Parrish in Texas and to this union were born seven children, four sons and three daughters.
He brought his family to Rush Springs in 1901 and spent the remainder of his life - 34 years - in this vicinity.
Surviving are his wife; four sons, Walter, Joe and Arthur Jones of Rush Springs and Henry Jones of El Reno; one daughter Sallie Jones of Rush Springs; three brothers, Sam Jones of Amherst, Texas, Henry Coolidge Jones of Texas, and Thad Jones of Ranger Texas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
"Uncle Jimmie" became identified with the Church of Christ about 45 years ago to which he remained faithful until his death. His smiling countenance even in face of adversity will be missed by hundreds in and around Rush Springs. 
 

 

 

Lucian Walter Jones

Lucian Walter Jones

Funeral services for Lucian Walter Jones, 101 were held Monday at 10:30 a.m. from the 16th and Florida Church of Christ in Chickasha. Jim Lane, minister of the church officiated. He was assisted by James Baumam.

Jones was born Feb 23, 1879 in Freestone County, TX. He died Friday, March 21, in the Tally Walker Hospital in Marlow.

He and Maude Jeffie Davis were married in May of 1903 in Rush Springs IT. His wife preceding him in death in Jan of 1973. Also preceding him death were five sons and a daughter.

Jones moved with his family from Freestone County to Rush Springs in 1899. He was a farmer and the first Grady county deputy sheriff to receive pay after statehood. He served under Matt Sanky in 1917.

He was a guard at Granite Reformatory in 1934-35. He retired at the age of 76 after serving 23 years as superintendent of state highways in Grady County.

Survivors include four daughters; Dorothy Grimes of Tucson, AZ, Opal Moon of Oklahoma City, Ruby Bozeman of Fort Worth, TX, and Betty Davidson of Cleveland, Ohio; Six grand children; seven great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Interment was in the Rush Springs Cemetery

 

 

Mary E. Jones

Last rites were conducted for Mrs. Mary Eugenia Parish Jones on Monday June 30 at 10 am in the chapel of the Callaway-Mullican Funeral Home with Ray Miller of the Church of Christ conducting.

Mrs. Jones died at here home Sunday, June 29 at 5 a.m. after an illness of 4 months. She was 91 years, 6 months an d15 days of age.

Mrs. Verd Foster and Raymond Murray sang "Face to Face," "Sweet Bye and Bye" and "What a Friend."

Pallbearers were grandsons and granddaughters. Interment was in the Rush Springs Cemetery.

Mary Eugenia Parish was born October 14, 1860 in Freestone County, TX. She was united in marriage to James Montgomery Jones in 1876. He preceded her in death March 15, 1935.

To the union were born six children. One daughter, Ethee, preceded her in death May 18, 1922.

She united with the Church of Christ when a young woman and lived a good Christian life, being a devoted mother and a good neighbor.

She is survived by four sons, Walter Jones of Chickasha, Joe Jones of Rush Springs, Arthur Jones of Joplin MO. And Henry Jones of Phoenix, AZ; one daughter, Sally Jones of the home; twenty grandchildren, including one grandson raised from infancy, Oran J Hardy of Dallas, TX and twenty-five great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends who mourn her passing.
 

 

Maude Jeffie Jones

Funeral Services for Mrs. Maude Jeffie Jones, 88 of Chickasha, will be held at 10:30 am today, Thursday, Jan 4, from the chapel of Brown's Funeral home in Chickasha. Bill Ballard, minister of the 16th and Florida Church of Christ, Chickasha will officiate.

Mrs. Jones was born May 10, 1885 in Van Buren, Ark and died Tuesday morning in the Grady Memorial Hospital, Chickasha. She moved to Rush Springs from Arkansas 85 years ago and moved from here to Chickasha in 1936. She was a member of the 16th and Florida Church of Christ.

Interment will be in the Rush Springs Cemetery.

Survivors include here husband, Walter Lucian Jones of the home; one son, Jimmy of Chickasha; five daughters, Mrs Gladys Mayo and Mrs. Opal Robertson of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Barbara Grimes of Tucson, Ariz., Mrs. Ruby Bozeman of Fort Worth, TX and Mrs. Betty Davidson of Olmsted Falls; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

 

 

 

Fred Larue Jordan

Obituary - Rush Springs Gazette 9/5/1985

Funeral services for Fred Larue Jordan were held Tuesday at 11am from the Assembly of God Church in Rush Springs. Rev Lonnie Harris, pastor of the church, will officiate.

Jordan, 66, died in his sleep at his home Thursday of last week. He was born Feb 22, 1919 in Shamrock, and was married to Maddie W Phillips in Carlsbad, NM on Oct 6, 1964.

Jordan had lived in Rush Springs since 1966 and was a retired old field worker. He was a veteran of WW II and a member of the VFW, American Legion and the DAV. He was a member of the Baptist church.

Survivors include his wife, Maddie, of the home; on daughter, Marian Patrick of Depew; two step-sons, Eugene Phillips of Norfolk VA, and Carl Moulder of Rush Springs; one step-daughter, Carla Gamblin of Walters; one brother, Paul Jordan of Olney, Texas; and eight grandchildren.

Burial was in the Rush Springs Cemetery under direction of the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home.

Pallbears were members of the Rush Springs Redskins football team.

The Redskins lost one their most ardent football fans with the death of Fred Jordan.

I talked with Fred the night of the Redskin-Elmore City scrimmage and he was talking of the upcoming games this Friday night at Mountain View.

For 20 years Fred had attended every Redskin football game, both at home and away. He was anxious to begin his 21st year this Friday night at Mountain View.

 

 

Homer Clyde Jordan

Services for Homer Clyde Jordan, 94, of Rush Springs, will be Saturday, June 11, 2005 at 10 a.m. He died Thursday, June 9, 2005 in Chickasha. He was born Wednesday, Dec. 21, 1910 in Soldier Creek, Midwest City, to the late James Washington Jordan and Mamie Della [Cox] Jordan.
Interment will follow at Rush Springs Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel.

 

 

Manuel D. Jordan

Funeral services for Manuel D. Jordan, 69, of Rush Springs, Okla., will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2001, at Southern Baptist Church.
Rev. Elmer Whitehead will officiate.
Manuel D. Jordan was born Aug. 20, 1932, of Boswell, Okla., and died on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2001, in Oklahoma City.
Burial will be in the Rush Springs Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel, Rush Springs.

 

 

Patsy June Kemp

Funeral services for Patsy June Kemp, 43, were held Tuesday at 2 pm from the Southern Baptist Church in Rush Springs. Rev Dan Pruitt, pastor of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Duncan officiating.
Mrs. Kemp was born June 13, 1938, in Rush Springs. She died early Sunday morning following an automobile accident south of Chickasha near the Little Washita River Bridge.
A pickup truck crashed into the back of her car forcing it off the road and into a bar ditch. Her car struck a tree, rolled an undetermined number of times and caught fire, officials said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
She had lived in Rush Springs all of her life and was employed at the Pizza Inn in Chickasha. She was a member of the Southern Baptist Church.
Pallbearers were Jerry Stewart, Ed Walters, Jim Norton, Bill Cope, Calvin Carner and Eddie Bennett. Honorary bearers were Bill Sweat, Joe Tunnell, Woody Meek and Zackie Walters.
Burial was in the Rush Springs cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home.
Survivors include two daughters, Cammy Tedder of Chickasha and Denise Williams of Russelville, Arkansas; one son, James Kemp of Rush Springs; her mother, Della Mae Bishop of Rush Springs; two sisters, Melba Brown of Chickasha and Delores Cecil of Rush Springs and two grandchildren.

 

 

Billie Jo Kinnard

Rush Springs - BILLIE JO KINNARD, 77, of Rush Springs, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2007, in Rush Springs.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. today in Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs, with Terry Beard officiating. Burial will be in the Rush Springs Cemetery.
Billie was born August 12, 1930, in Wapanucka, to Earl Kerr and Beulah Lucas Kerr. She married Dennis Vance Kinnard on August 9, 1949 in Henrietta, Texas. He preceded her in death on April 5, 2003. Billie graduated from Rush Springs High School in 1953. She lived in Fairview for 30 years before returning to Rush Springs in 1992. She had her pilot's license, beautician's license, and was an entrepreneur. Billie loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, traveling and horseback riding. Billie had a special love for all kinds of animals. She was a member of the Southern Baptist Church in Rush Springs.
Survivors include a brother, Robert Kerr and wife Joyce of Duncan; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews, and great-great-nieces and -nephews, Faye, Dub and Stormi Smelley of Rush Springs, Michael, Tracy, Jeri, Montana and Lauren Fulton of Rush Springs, Corene Scruggs and family, Betty Jo Hoard and family, Robert Beckman, Shirley Shirley and family, George Garrett, Cheryl Savage and family, Jimmy Kerr and family, Vivian Coffman and family.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Rusty Kerr; and two sisters, Vivian Garrett and Oleta Gilpin.
Bearers will be Jerry Stewart, Joe Kuntz, Harold Duke, Conn Goodwin, Ocie Davis and Jack Porter.
Honorary bearers are Leon Burgess and Robert Kuntz.

Annie Marguerite Conger Kirkpatrick

Annie Marguerite Conger Kirkpatrick, 93, Oklahoma City, died Saturday, April 24 1999 in Chickasha.
Funeral services where held Monday, April 26 with a graveside service and burial in the Rush Springs Cemetery at 10:30am with the Rev Elmer Whitehead officiating.
Mrs. Kirkpatrick was born March 5, 1906, at Purdy to William Amos and Lula Betta Conger.
The family moved to Ft Sumner NM and lived on a ranch for seven years then returned to Rush Springs where she attended grade school and high school. She attended Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha and Oklahoma University where she graduated with a BS degree in educations n 1929. She began a teaching career at Friend School near Chickasha. She taught school at Newcastle then moved to Oklahoma City where she taught 15 years at Lafayette Elementary School.
She married Wallace D Kirkpatrick August 1938 in Oklahoma City where she was a resident for 65 years. She was active in the Association of Retired Persons and Retired Federal Employees Association. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Oklahoma City.
She was preceded in death by her husband Wallace in 1984 and a sister Eulene Nona Sheriff.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Vera Vernon of Lawrence KS; brother-in-law, Truitt Sheriff of Albuquerque NM; nieces, Monica Landreth and husband Gary of Denton TX; Sydney Kay Jorgusen and husband Forrest of Chickasha, and Jane Ramsey of Wichita Falls, TX: newphes John and Randall SHeriff of Albuquerque NM; Michele Hanna Sprague of Perry KS, and Ben Bostwick Jr of Garfield AR, 16 great neices and nephews and 8 great great nieces and nephews.
 
 

 

Lillian Lorena Shotts Landrum

LILLIAN LORENA SHOTTS LANDRUM, 95, of Marlow, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2007 in Marlow.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Christ in Rush Springs, with Jesse Wilburn and Clif Werhan officiating. Burial will be in Rush Springs Cemetery under direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs.
Lorena was born December 20, 1911 in Frederick, to Asa and Eula Covington Shotts. She attended school at Rush Springs. She lived in the Rush Springs area most of her life. She loved going to church, decorating her house, cooking, crocheting, visiting, and sitting on her front porch watching children play on the school playgrounds.
Lorena married Hollis Landrum on Nov. 20, 1928 in Marlow. He preceded her in death on Jan. 10, 1982. Lorena was a member of the Church of Christ in Rush Springs.
Her survivors include a son, Phillip "Sonny" Landrum and his wife Marge of Pottsboro, Texas; two daughters, Joan Levings and husband Richard of Marlow, and Kay Landrum and husband Mike of Rush Springs; five grandchildren, Mike and Bev Levings of Marlow, Kevin and Kim McElroy of Moore, Lisa Landrum of Oklahoma City, Shawn and Marilyn Landrum of Pottsboro, and Kim and Chris McElroy of Flower Mound, Texas; seven great-grandchildren; ten great-great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and a brother, Lewis Shotts.
Pallbearers will be Joe Tunnel, Kevin McElroy, Shawn Landrum, Chris Cook, Roy Jennings, Don Hall.

Roberta A. Simons Lasenberry

Funeral services for Roberta A. Simons Lasenberry, 74, of Duncan, formerly of Rush Springs, will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 30, 2001, at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel. Rev. Alvin McConnell.
Roberta A. Simons Lasenberry was born April 1, 1927, in Pointe, Texas. She died on Thursday, April 26, 2001, in Duncan.
Burial will be in the Rush Springs Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel.

 

 

Delories Lee

Delories Lee, 78, went to be with the Lord in Heaven on October 9, 2007. She was born May 14, 1929 in Rush Springs, OK to George Davis and Inez (Bentley) Davis, and raised in OKC. Delories married Noble L. Lee on June 21, 1947, and they were married 44 years. They lived in South OKC for 30 years until moving to Norman where they built their underground home. Delories was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Noble; 2 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by her children, Michael L. Lee of Norman, Pam Jenkins and husband Terry of Moore, OK, and Sandy Yott and husband Raymond of Macomb, OK; 11 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. Services to celebrate her life will be 1:00 PM Friday, October 12, 2007, at Brookwood Baptist Church. Interment will be 3:30 PM Friday at Rush Springs Cemetery.
