Funeral service for Audrey Nola Cook, age 86 of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2008, in the McRay Funeral Home Chapel, Chickasha. Rev. Robert Dye will officiate. Audrey will be laid to rest immediately following at Fairlawn Cemetery. Audrey Nola Cook (Munn) departed this life on October 10, 2008, in Chickasha. Audrey was born on December 24, 1921, in Danville, Arkansas. Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.

Alva - MARJORIE BERNICE CONDER, 79, of Alva, Okla., passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2008, in Alva.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Alva First Baptist Church, with Dr. Greg Hook officiating. Interment will be at 4 p.m. in Fairlawn Cemetery in Chickasha under direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva.
Marjorie, daughter of Leaon Arnold and Vival Gertrude Davis Griswold, was born Sept. 8, 1928, in Naples, Okla. She attended school in California before graduating from Alex (Okla.) High School. On May 24, 1947, she was united in marriage to George E. Conder in Burkburnett, Texas. They lived in Silo for many years before moving to Alva in 2005.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Cloudy, Okla. She really enjoyed cooking for her family and helping with Masonic Lodge functions. As a devoted mother and grand-mother, she enjoyed spending time with her family and watching their activities.
She is survived by two sons, T.D. Conder and wife Deborah of Loco, and Terry Conder and wife Tracey of Alva; a daughter, Vival McCarty and husband Herbert of Denton, Texas; five grandchildren, Dustin McCarty and wife Tracy of Denton, Brandi Lipkin and husband Gary of Velma, Jennifer Covington of Loco, Taleesha Conder of Talahina, and Tayler Conder of Alva; 11 great-grand-children; a great-great-grandchild; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Sharon L. Clark

Chickasha -- Funeral services for Sharon L. Clark, 57, Oklahoma City and formerly of Chickasha, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24, 2000, at Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerl Joslin of Forrest Hills Christian Church officiating. Interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery.

Ms. Clark was born May 4, 1943, at Chickasha, to LaRoy and Lula Talbot Wood. She died of cancer on Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2000, in Oklahoma City.

She married Robert B. Clark on March 25, 1961. To this union two children were born.

Ms. Clark worked as a graphic artist for a living. She won local and national awards for her artwork. She also won ribbons for quilting and crocheting. She was involved in children's sports and school activities. She had been a member of the Jaycee Jaynes and Press Club and was a den mother for the Boy Scouts of America. She also coached a girls little league softball team. She was a member of Parkview Christian Church.

Her father LaRoy Wood preceded her in death.

Survivors include her mother, of Chickasha; son, Robert Craig Clark, Oklahoma City; daughter, Kimberly Ann Burton, Ardmore; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirlene and Duane Wigley, Chickasha, Bette and Jerry Smoot, Broken Arrow, and Patty and Bo Crawford, Chickasha; brother, Ronald Wood, Chickasha; two grandchildren, Brandon Clark and Randy Roller; and several nieces and nephews.

Active casket bearers are Randy Wigley, Mark Brown, Steve Wigley, Troy Wood, Scott Wood, Richie Smoot, Kent Scafer and Craig Caldwell.

Honorary casket bearers are Pat Robinson, Galen McLaughlin, Tom Rickey, Garold Veach, Howard Victery and A.C. Hayes.

HAROLD LEYMOND CHILDERS, 76, of Duncan, died Monday, June 2, 2008, in Duncan.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday in McRay Funeral Home Chapel in Chickasha. Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery.
Harold was born Sept. 24, 1931, in Hector, Ark., the son of Jess Childers and Esther Voss Childers.
He entered the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War. After the war, he moved to Chickasha, where he met his wife, Anne Blacksher. They were married June 2, 1956, in Wichita Falls, Texas. While in Chickasha, Harold worked as an electrician for various contractors before starting his own electrician business. Harold lived in Chickasha for many years and moved to Duncan in 1998.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Ronnie Childers and Regina of Blanchard, and Bruce Childers of Chickasha; two daughters and a son-in-law, Debbie Unwin and Alfred of Salem, Ore., and Donna Childers of Duncan; a stepson, Ricky Malone of Ringling; two brothers, Leon and Bob; two sisters, Maggie and Mabeline; 13 grand-children and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, and a brother.
 

 

  

 

Bonnie Clements

 

Funeral service for Bonnie Clements, 77, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 29, 2008, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home of Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Bonnie Clements was born March 13, 1931, in Tishomingo, OK, to Richard and Margaret Viola (Smith) Chaney. She passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2008, in Oklahoma City, OK.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, OK, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Teresa Ann Cobb

 

Graveside service for Teresa Ann Cobb, age 61, of Chickasha will be Saturday, July 26, 2008, at 10:00 am in the Fairlawn Cemetery. Rev. Robert Dye will officiate.

Teresa was born the daughter of Charles Edward Taylor and Hazel Imogene Tryon Taylor on February 28, 1947, in Chickasha. She died on July 24, 2008, in Chickasha. Teresa grew up in Chickasha and graduated from Chickasha High School. After graduation, she attended and graduated from USAO. She worked for ASCOG for several years helping people with job placement. She then worked as the assistant director of financial aid at USAO, and later as the financial aid director for OSU in Oklahoma City.

She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Charles Edward Taylor, Jr. She is survived by two daughters: Brandy Crumrine of Chickasha; and Kris Ford of Guthrie; one son, Danyon Miller of Tulsa; her mother: Hazel Taylor of Chickasha; and five grandchildren.

Fern Effie Cassel

 

Fern Effie Cassel, of El Reno, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2008 in the Care Living Center in El Reno, Oklahoma. Fern was born January 1, 1915, at Dutton, Oklahoma, to John Emry Cassel and Effie Eva Cassel.

Fern graduated from Pocasset, Oklahoma High School in 1933 and Oklahoma College for Women, Chickasha, Oklahoma in 1939. Fern attended Scarritt College in 1945 where she became a Diaconal Minister. Fern was a Home Economics teacher in Excelsior and Cromwell, Oklahoma. After attending Scarritt College, she began her career in Christian Education working in Houston, Texas and Tennessee. She then returned to Oklahoma working for the Western Methodist Conference. After 13 years with the Oklahoma Methodist Conference in Oklahoma City, she was the Christian Education Director at The Village Methodist Church and later at Centenary Methodist in Lawton. She returned to Wesley in Oklahoma City which was her church for her remaining years, even after relocating to El Reno in 1998 to be near her Nephew and his wife, Dale and Dorothy Cassel. Fern was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City and taught classes and special lessons for many years. She was a member of the Builders Sunday School Class, who gave her special treatment through visits, cards and calls.

Fern is preceded in death by her parents, John Emry Cassel and Effie Eva Cassel; and two brothers, Elbert Emry Cassel and Roy Leslie Cassel. Survivors include her sister-in-law Erma Ruth Cassel of El Reno, OK; nephews, Dale A. Cassel and wife, Dorothy F. Cassel of El Reno, OK, John Elden Cassel and wife, Mary Lou Cassel of Oklahoma City; nieces, Annice Hill and husband, Bill Hill of Verden, OK, Betty Pope and husband, Terry Pope of Bethany, OK. Also nephews, Elmer Lee Cassel and wife, Babe Cassel of Anchorage, Alaska, Don Cassel and wife, Felicia Cassel of Anchorage, Alaska and niece, LaDonna Nonneman and husband, Hal Nonneman of Anchorage, Alaska.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday, August 4th, in the Wesley United Methodist Church in El Reno. Dr. Richard D. Cato and Rev. Phillip Davis will officiate. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery in Chickasha, OK. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home in El Reno. MARCIA GAYLE CAMP, 51, Chickasha, will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at McRay Funeral Home Chapel, Chickasha, with the Rev. Michael Oberlender officiating.
Mrs. Camp died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2006, in Oklahoma City.
Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery.
She was born Nov. 16, 1954, in Chickasha to Thomas J. Cook and Marcella M. McCrea Cook. She married Charles C. Camp on May 28, 1976, at Chickasha First Christian Church, with Charles Roberts officiating. Soon after graduating from Chickasha High School, she began working as a lab technician at American Optical. After 25 years, she retired due to her health. She was a supporter of the Special Olympics.
Survivors include her husband, Chickasha; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Thomas and Debi Camp, and Christopher Camp, all of Chickasha; her mother, Chickasha; a sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Randell Sellers, Lawton; three brothers and two sisters-in-law: Tom and Darla Cook, Phoenix, Ariz., Bill and Kathy Cook, Terrell, Texas, and Gary Cook, Chickasha; two grandchildren: Roya and Derrick; and many nieces and nephews: Zac, Cory, Andy, Tommy, Aaron, Paul, Tiffany, Jason, Josh, Jared, Kyla, Angie, Michelle, Rachel, Mitchell and Chrystal.
She was preceded in death by her father; her grandmother, Mary Baggett; and an uncle, Buddy McCrea.

Cloy Virue Brown

 

Funeral service for Cloy V. Brown, age 78 of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, November 22, 2008 in the McRay Funeral Home Chapel.

Cloy Virue Brown was born the daughter of Julius C. Dillard and Elizabeth "Kate" Threadgill Dillard on September 27, 1930, in Alex, Oklahoma. She died on November 15, 2008 in Chickasha.

Cloy lived in the Chickasha area as a child. In 1950, she married J.A. Brown in Wichita Falls, Texas. They lived in various places, following Mr. Brown's work in the oil field. She and her husband eventually settled in Bloomfield, New Mexico, where they lived for many years. While in Bloomfield, she and her husband operated a café. In 1972, they returned to Chickasha. After returning to Chickasha, Cloy worked as a housing supervisor at a local nursing home.

Cloy was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Vellie Mae Miller and Norma Lean Ramsey; and her husband, Judge A. Brown. Survivors include: Brother: JC Dillard and wife, Marge of Arizona; Sister: Lois Ripatoe of Chickasha; Son: James Phillips and wife, Darryle of Chickasha; Grandson: Scot Phillips and wife, Vivian of Amarillo, Texas; Granddaughter: Natalie Talbert and husband, Jeff of Chickasha; Great-Granddaughter: Jamie Karlsson and husband, Kristinn of Chickasha; Great-Grandson: Brendan Phillips of New Mexico; Great-Granddaughter: Savannah Phillips of New Mexico.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery. Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home. Viewing will begin on Thursday, November 20, 2008.

Earl Emory Brooks Jr.

 

Funeral service for Earl Emory Brooks Jr. age 54 formerly of Chickasha will be held 1:30 pm Wednesday January 11, 2006 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Earl Emory Brooks Jr. was born August 20, 1951 in Chickasha. He was the son of Earl E. and Mary Alice (Ward) Brooks. He died Thursday January 5, 2006 in Oklahoma City. He had attended USAO in Chickasha. Earl lived in Nebraska for over 20 years. He worked for Transportation Specialist, LTD in Omaha. Earl was currently living at Bellevue, Nebraska. His parents and one sister, Paula Oliver, preceded him in death. Survivors include: Mom: Martha Faye Brooks of Oklahoma City; His sister Barbara Anne and her husband Tim Nall of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; Two nephews Dylan Nall and Ethan Nall. Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, Oklahoma under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

 

  

 

Gene P. Boyt

Memorial services for GENE P. BOYT, 86, of Chickasha, will be held Monday, September 15, 2003, at 2:30 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
Gene P. Boyt was born March 29, 1917, in Houston, Mo., son of Ernest Boyt and Margaret (Phemister) Boyt. He died September 11, 2003, in Oklahoma City, Okla.
Gene's father was an oil field worker, so Gene grew up living in many towns in Oklahoma. He went to high school in Drumright, Oklahoma, and graduated in 1935. He joined the Civilian Conservation Corps and then attended the University of Arizona. Gene graduated from the Missouri School of Mines in Rolla, Missouri, in 1941.
He then joined the United States Army and was sent to the Philippines as a lieutenant in the Engineering Corps. He was captured and taken prisoner on April 9, 1942, and was held for 3-1/2 years, serving 2-1/2 of those years in Japan. He survived the Bataan Death March and was in a Japanese prison camp when Hiroshima and Nagasaki were bombed during World War II. He was released and returned to the United States, stationed at Borden General in Chickasha.
He married Betty Ruth Dietrich on May 30, 1946, in the Chapel of Borden General Hospital. After discharge, Gene was an engineer for the Bureau of Reclamation, building hydroelectric dams. He helped with the building of the Davis Dam in Bull Head City, Arizona, Palisades Dam in Idaho, Flaming Forge Dam in Utah, and Blue Mesa and Morrow Point Dams in Colorado. He also assisted in the construction of two dams in Puerto Rico, for the Puerto Rico Water Source Authority.
He retired in 1975, and returned to Chickasha. Gene was a much-decorated soldier, having been awarded the Purple Heart, the Bronze Star, three Presidential Citations, the Philippines' Presidential Citation Medal, and the Oklahoma Medal of Valor. Gene and David Burch co-authored a book titled "Bataan, A Survivor's Story," published by the Oklahoma University Press, which details his life and war-time experiences. The book will be released in February 2004.
Gene was preceded in death by both parents, one brother, and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Ruth of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Marvina Boyt of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and Thomas and Janice Boyt of Edmond, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Brandon Robert Boyt, of Los Angeles, Calif., Shoni L. Boyt and Abbie Rae Boyt, both of Edmond, Okla., and Kami Ruth Boyt, of Denver, Colo.

 

 

 

Margaret Naomi Baxter

Funeral for Margaret Naomi Baxter, 80 , 106 Glenhaven Drive, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday May 21 1985 in the chapel of Sevier Funeral Home with Rev. H.E. Whitener of Crane, Mo, officiating. Mrs. Baxter was born on June 10 1904 and died Friday May 17 1985, in a local nursing.

She came to Chickasha in 1914 when the family moved here from Shamrock Texas. She married James William Baxter on Oct 3 1919 in Enid. He preceded her in death on Sept 18 1972. Mrs. Baxter was also preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy G. Fellows, and by one brother, Willie Ralph Fellows.

She was a member of the Central Church of Christ of Chickasha. Survivors include seven daughters, Seltha May Thompson of Chickasha, Naomi Ruth Baxter of Lawton, Nettie Lee Stifler of Apollo Beach, Fl, Gennevie Pharris of Lawton, Joyce Alexander of Nicoma Park, Margaret Jean Whitener of Republic, Mo, Frances Grace Whitener of Crane, Mo. two sons Samuel Harry Baxter of Norman, and James William Baxter Jr. of Guthrie, two brothers, Dwain Fellows of Enid, and Fred Roy Fellows of Newall, three sisters, Gladys May Medlin, of Marlow, Beatrice Louise Medlin of Midwest City, and Mary Jane Hunt of Chickasha 25 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. The body will lie in state until 10 a.m. Tuesday. The casket will not be open at the services. Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery

 

 

 

 

James William Baxter


Funeral service for James William Baxter, 76 Nicoma Park, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Sevier Funeral Home with Terry Broome officiating. Mr. Baxter was born July 8 1896, in Marion, Ind.

He came to Chickasha in 1899 and moved to Nicoma Park in 1959. He was a veteran of WWI having served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Central Church of Christ of Chickasha. Mr. Baxter married the former Miss Margaret Naomi Fellows on Oct 3 1919 at El Reno, he was a charter member of the VFW Chickasha chapter.

Mr. Baxter died Monday in his car in Del City following a massive stroke.

Survivors include his wife of the home, seven daughters, Mrs. Seltha Thomson of Nicoma Park, Miss Naomi Ruth Baxter of Lawton, Mrs. Nettie Lee Stiffler of Cullman, Ala, Mrs. Gennevie Phariss of Lawton, Mrs Joyce Rheora Alexander of Nicoma Park, Mrs. Margaret Jean Whitener of Greenville, S.C, and Mrs. Frances Grace Whitener of Crane, MO, two sons, Samuel Harry Baxter of Norman, and James William Baxter Jr. of Oklahoma City, one brother Clyde S. Baxter of Chickasha, two sisters, Mrs. Mary Lecklider and Miss Ruth Baxter of Pendleton, Ore, 26 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and five step-children. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

 

  

 

George Wesley Baxter

 

George Wesley Baxter of Oklahoma City, passed away December 15, 2007 at the age of 78. He was born on November 2, 1929 in Eufaula, OK to Emanuel Franklin Baxter and Cora Thomas.

George served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After his honorable discharge from the military he worked as an oil rig worker, then as a jet engine mechanic at Tinker Air Force Base where he retired after many years of dedicated service.

He was a loving and dedicated father, often telling people that his children were his life.

He is preceded in death by his beloved son, James Baxter; father Emanuel Baxter; and one brother, Raymond Baxter. George leaves behind a daughter, Rhonda Baxter-Robison; son-in-law Barry Robison; one grandchild, Ethan Robison; and his mother Cora Baxter who will cherish his memory forever. He is also survived by three sisters, Betty Rinderer, Cepha Van Bibber, and Flossie Woods; along with five brothers, Roger, Dan, Ulysses, Tom and Steve Baxter. George leaves behind countless other relatives, friends, and acquaintances. His presence will be sorely missed.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home Southeast, 5005 SE 29th, Del City, Oklahoma. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 19, 2007 with interment following at Fairlawn Cemetery at 4:00 pm in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
 

  

 

Freddie Ray Barber

 

Freddie Ray Barber was born October 15th, 1946 in Walter, Oklahoma. He was the son of Raymond Paul Barber and Hazel Marie Akins. Mr. Barber died December 26th, 2008 in Ninnekah.

He served in the Army Reserve 95th for 30 years. He lived in Chickasha most of his life and worked for Chickasha Manufacturing for almost 40 years.

He was preceded in death by: His Father, 1 son: Kendall Barber, 1 daughter Pam Barber.

Survivors include: His mother: Hazel Marie Barber, 1 daughter: Carol Ramsey, His sister: Paula Kay Willis, 1 granddaughter: Shelby Rayleen Barber, and Earleen Barber.

Interment will be at the Fairlawn Cemetery. Services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008. 

 

  

 

Pamela Lynn Barber

 

Funeral services for Pamela Lynn Barber, 37, of Chickasha were held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, September 8, 2008 at the Faith Baptist Church, Chickasha.
Pamela Lynn Barber was born at Hillcrest Hospital in Oklahoma City and went to be with her heavenly Father at her home in Chickasha.
Pam attended Chickasha Pubic Schools where she graduated from Chickasha High School in May of 1990. Pam went on to attend Canadian Valley Vo-tech where she received her CNA and CMA license. Pam also graduated from The Academy of Cosmetology.
Pamela was a member of Sharing Life Church.
She is survived by her daughter Shelby Barber, and parents Fred and Earleene Barber, and one sister Carol Barber-Ramsey and her grandmothers Hazel Barber and Scharleene Bowen.
On May 21, 1992, she married Micheal Chavers and they were divorced in the summer of 1995.
Interment was at the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

 

  

 

Mary Lee Atkins

 

CHICKASHA – Funeral services for Mary Lee Atkins are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday at the First Presbyterian Church.

Interment is to follow at Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Atkins died Tuesday, June 11, 2002 in Chickasha at the age of 91.

She was born May 16, 1911 in Ashburn, Ga. to Nathan Oliver and Sallie Margaret (Fink) Rhyne.

She married Thaddie Boyd Atkins on June 20, 1929 in Atoka.

They were married for 64 ˝ years before he preceded her in death on Dec. 6, 1993.

Atkins was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death five sisters and three brothers.

She is survived by three sons, Daniel B. Atkins of Sulphur, Vernon Glenn Atkins of McLoud, and Robert Nick Atkins of Chickasha; three daughters, Margaret O. VanStrien of Hudsonville, Mich., Bertha M. Hightower of Chickasha, and Annie M. Wudi of Stratford; one brother, Virgil Rhyne of Coalgate; one sister, Ethel Ennis of Coalgate; 26 grandchildren; 66 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Services for James Leonard Ashford, 86, of Dibble Oklahoma, were held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 3, 1987, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Reverend John Ballard, pastor of the Freewill Baptist Church of Bixby, officiated, Rev. Lewis Cox, Paster of the Dibble Freewill Baptist Church assisted.
James Leonard Ashford was born January 27, 1901, in Marshall County, Oklahoma and died Sunday, November 1, 1987, in Chickasha, Ok.
Mr. Ashford attended schools at Ceder Hill and East Valley View. He came to Grady County in 1915. He and Tima Gordon Cook were married December 19, 1921. She preceded him in death March 10, 1935, to this union six children were born. Mr. Ashford was also preceded in death by, Sarah M. Ashford in 1972.
Mr. Ashford and Lillian Mantz were married January 7, 1975, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma
He was a dair farmer and was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Dibble Oklahoma. Mr. Ashford was also preceded in death by three brother and one sister.
Survivor include his wife, Lillian Mantz Ashford, of the home; three sons, James Ashford of Dibble, Leon Ashford of Lindsay, and Melton (Gub) Ashford of Dibble; and three daughters, Sylvia Wenholz of Dibble, Ok, Margaret Wells of Wynnewood, Ok, and Shirley Choiniere of Dumfries Va.
Also 18 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, one sister Lucy Sanders of Santa Rosa, CA, several stepchildren and 18 step grandchildren.
Interment was held in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Sevier Funeral Home. 

 

  

 

Michael Shane Alexander

 

Funeral services for Michael Shane Alexander, 33, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:30 am, Friday, April 17, 2009, in the Bible Baptist Church with Kim Hayes officiating.

Michael Alexander was born November 7, 1975, in Chickasha, the son of Carl and Mary (Lutonsky) Alexander. He died Saturday, April 11, 2009, in Chickasha. He was raised in Chickasha and attended Chickasha Public Schools. He graduated from Chickasha High School in 1994. He then attended the University of Oklahoma where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity.

Michael married Amy (Manos) Alexander on May 10, 2008, in Chickasha. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. Michael was a loving and devoted daddy to his three children, and he especially enjoyed spending time with them. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church.

Michael was preceded in death by both grandfathers: Alfred Lutonsky and Clifford Alexander; his grandmother, Louise Alexander; and an infant sister, Carla Ann Alexander. He leaves behind his wife, Amy Alexander; three children: Braeli and Ronnie Alexander and Riley Manos; parents: Carl and Mary Alexander; brother and sister-in-law: Scott and Nikki Alexander; sister and brother-in-law: Stacie and Quintin Rogers, all of Chickasha; brother and sister-in-law: Stephen and Mandie Alexander, of Norman; brother and sister-in-law: Jerry and Lisa Alexander, of Broken Arrow; sister, Terrie Elliott, of Rowlett,Texas; grandmother, Pauline Lutonsky, of Oklahoma City; nieces and nephews: Chelsea, Ashlea, Seth, Cooper, Case, Schuyler, Jordan, Jackson, Delaney, Chad, and Chase; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family and numerous friends.

Because this disease affects Michael's daughter Braeli, in lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of Central Oklahoma at 2212 NW 50th Suite 158C; Oklahoma City, OK. 73112.
