Anniversaries


Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Glaser are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary today, July 5, 2009. Lawrence Glaser and the former Donna Lee Duroy were married in Ponca City on July 5, 1949, and have lived their entire lives in Ponca City. Lawrence worked at Conoco from the time he was 20 years old until his retirement in 1985. Donna worked as a homemaker and a seamstress. They are active members of St. Mary's Catholic Church. The couple enjoys hunting, Þshing, air boating, gardening and spending time with their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They have Þve children including Trudy Glaser Lefrak, Mclean, Va., Mike Glaser (deceased), and Tim, Tracy and Mark Glaser, Ponca City. They also have 14 grandchildren including Allison, Shayna, Ashley, Mikaela, Lisa, Stephen, Amy,Laura, Amber, Matthew, Jennifer, Dustin, Chris, and Joshua. The couple also has 16 great-grandchildren including Lillian, Luke, Summer, Nicholas, Gabriella, Garrett, Lauren Faith, Titan, Sophia, Jane, Kaiden, Makenna, Destinee, Xavier, Brittany, and Cory. The entire family was on hand to mark the occasion with a gathering last night at the home of Tim and Liz Glaser.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Rennie will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary on July 6, 2009. A special vacation is planned at a later date to mark the occasion. Richard and the former Linda Spangler McCullough were married on July 6, 1984 in Miami. They made their first home in the country near Burbank. They have resided in their present home in the Burbank area for two years. Rennie retired from Conoco in 2000. He is a member of the Osage County Cattlemen's Association. Linda retired from Pioneer Bank and Trust in 1999. She is active in the 101 Ranch Oldtimers association and the Westerners. Their children are Robert Clover and wife Marie of Houston, Texas; Scott Rennie and wife Debra, Kaw City; Mike Clover, Singapore; and Gaytha Sebor and husband Greg, Ponca City. They have nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
